00:00 Outside of Colorado, they're returning the fewest number of starts of anyone on the roster.
00:05 How's that kind of dynamic played out to start?
00:09 >> So the offense had pretty much all new starters.
00:14 So none of the starters from last year's offense came back.
00:18 And I think you definitely saw that there was a lot of lack of jelling, if you will.
00:23 They hadn't really played with each other.
00:25 There's a lot of inexperience there, especially on the offensive line.
00:29 We're playing a lot of young guys.
00:31 I think our center is a true freshman.
00:32 So and then obviously, the Purdue transfer quarterback, Michael Alemo, came in.
00:37 And he's starting quarterback.
00:38 And he hasn't played with these running backs, these wide receivers.
00:41 So there's a lot of question marks as to how are they gonna gel together?
00:46 And I think you saw that in the game there was specifically deep balls.
00:53 They couldn't really connect very well on that.
00:55 And the running game wasn't as strong as I think we all thought it would be.
00:58 So then again, that just goes back to now playing with each other long enough,
01:04 not being experienced, not being old enough.
01:06 But obviously, that's something we're gonna be able to work on with them being
01:10 young, it's something we can build up instead of struggling right now.
01:13 And then it'll never get better.
01:15 I think there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
