00:38 So you may have woke up to the news that Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, the actress from
00:43 Game of Thrones, their marriage is over.
00:46 So let's get into this exclusive from TMZ.
00:49 So TMZ says this, "Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are headed toward divorce, they've learned.
00:54 They said sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ that Joe had his people contact and consult
01:01 with at least two LA area divorce attorneys and he's on the cusp of filing for divorce
01:07 docs to end his marriage to Sophie.
01:12 So according to TMZ sources, they said the couple had "serious problems for at least
01:16 six months."
01:17 They said that they're told that the last three months Joe has been caring for their
01:21 two young children "pretty much all of the time," even as his band is touring.
01:28 So TMZ is told that Joe currently has both kids as the group plays around the US.
01:36 Here's the other thing, they said, "On the surface, it seems as if there's no outward
01:40 signs of trouble.
01:41 Joe and Sophie have attended events together.
01:44 However, in recent weeks, Joe has been seen not wearing his wedding band."
01:49 They said, "They recently sold their Miami mansion, they bought the place together just
01:54 a year ago and sold it fairly quickly for a decent profit."
01:58 And y'all know I love real estate and it's a beautiful estate.
02:02 A beautiful estate, but it's sold.

02:28 Okay, so they said Joe and Sophie, as you know, first linked up in 2016.

02:34 2016, I know with the pandemic, we always look at these dates as, "Oh, that wasn't
02:38 that long ago."
02:39 That was seven years ago, almost eight.
02:43 Sophie Turner is 27.

02:49 Joe Jonas is 34 years old.
02:51 So seven years ago, he was 27.
02:55 When you've been in this industry, you grow up very quickly.
02:58 I just want you to pay attention to the age difference.
03:00 So there's a seven year age difference between them.
03:04 And look, we've heard of age differences between people for a very long time.
03:08 It doesn't make a difference.
03:09 But for me, it does make a difference when you're in your early 20s versus you being
03:13 30, 40 years old and your man is Marlo's dating type.

03:21 Just saying.
03:22 Come on, Marlo.
03:25 So, as you know, they first got engaged.
03:27 They first linked up back in 2016, got engaged a year later.
03:32 In 2019, they were married Vegas style and have been living the family life ever since,
03:38 quickly welcoming their first child in 2020, they said, and another in 2022.
03:43 A lot has happened for them in the last four years.
03:47 So they said professionally, Joe and Sophie have been busy.
03:50 Joe, as you know, he's gone on tour with his brothers recently and is scheduled to perform
03:56 through the winter.
03:57 Sophie has done some TV movie stuff in recent years, but isn't nearly as active as she was
04:02 during her Game of Thrones days.
04:04 All right.
04:05 And she's a young actress.
04:06 So this is a time for her to be building.
04:09 So this is by the way, they're both still young.
04:11 This is what TMZ writes.
04:12 They're both still young.
04:13 Joe's just 34 and Sophie's only.
04:16 See, so they're seeing what I'm seeing here.
04:19 And Sophie's only 27 years old.
04:21 TMZ has reached out to both reps for Joe and Sophie so far, no word back.
04:27 So as I said to you before, I'm not surprised that these two are getting a divorce.

04:32 Especially because of Sophie's age, not, not so much.
04:36 So Joe's age, and I'm not surprised that Joe has stepped in and is taking care of the children
04:41 mostly.
04:42 And look, based on what we always hear in regards to general, not even just celebrities,
04:48 the mother always taking on the responsibility of the children when there's a divorce.
04:52 Well good for Joe.
04:53 You have the people and the resources and things like that.
04:56 And I wouldn't be surprised that Sophie might be like looking at her life, looking at her
05:01 career and is thinking to herself, Oh God, I'm a married woman.
05:05 I have two children.
05:06 I had such a budding career and look, it doesn't mean her career is over, but she probably
05:11 is looking back because she had children so early in her twenties.
05:15 And we know back in the day, this was normal.
05:17 People were having kids when they were 18, 19, 20 years old, but this is a different
05:21 age and time.
05:23 I'm sure she was looking at her peers and seeing what they're doing versus what she's
05:27 doing.
05:28 She might be having a little bit of a midlife crisis.
05:32 Maybe I'm assuming I'm speculating, but when I saw the story, you know, when I, I don't
05:36 report on all of pop culture news, I know you guys want me to be K and N, but I can't,
05:42 but I've always watched this relationship and always thought in the back of my mind,
05:46 she's quite young to be getting married, to having two kids so quickly.
05:52 Not everyone's life has to follow the same pattern.
05:55 This relationship could have went on for the next 20 years and it would have been fine.
06:00 But something intuitively in myself said, wow, this is, this seems like a lot.
06:07 This seems like a lot.
06:08 And maybe it has nothing to do with that because people change once you get married, once you
06:12 have children, you see different sides of people and doesn't make one side better than
06:17 the other or one person wrong or one person right.
06:19 Just means that I'm in a different place.
06:21 I'm in a different chapter in my life.
06:23 This, this is not what I want for myself.
06:25 I don't think that this is a major surprise.
06:29 Maybe not to myself, maybe not to you, the audience.
06:31 And I'm also probably sure maybe their family, specifically Sophie's family may not be completely
06:37 surprised at the outcome of the situation.
06:40 Is it sad?
06:41 Maybe because there are two children involved, but hopefully, and based on what we're seeing
06:44 so far, they're handling this amicably.
06:48 They're moving the way that they should move, selling off property, figuring out their assets.
06:54 I can appreciate a non messy divorce, especially because of how young they are and because
07:00 they have two young children.
07:02 We're going to continue to follow the situation.
07:05 And I'm sure now that this information is starting to come out, we will start to hear
07:09 there's been trouble in paradise because of this, this, and this.
07:12 I am surprised to hear, but at the same time, not surprised to hear that Joe has stepped
07:17 in and he's taking care of the children right now.
07:21 There are a lot of elements and a lot of you women can share in the comments that after
07:25 a woman has, has, you know, children, certain things change.
07:29 There's postpartum depression.
07:30 I'm not saying that's what's happening with Sophie, but there are a lot of elements that
07:34 we should keep in mind when it comes to this situation.
