BSP picks DLT for its 'Project Agila'

00:00 The Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas or BSP has already selected a distributed ledger technology provider for its project Aguila.
00:08 The said project aims to orient the BSP and participating financial institutions on central bank digital currency or CBDC technology solutions
00:18 that will help in improving the country's large value payment system.
00:22 BSP with the help of other financial institutions decided to delve on DLT as the said technology allows for recording, sharing and synchronizing data and transactions across a network.
