Tour d'Espagne 2023 - Remco Evenepoel : "Everybody is waiting and is patient"
Remco Evenepoel à l'arrivée de la 11e étape de La Vuelta ce mercredi. Présentant un tracé typique de La Vuelta, avec un parcours tout plat, avant une difficile montée finale, cette 11e étape ralliant Lerma à La Laguna Negra de Vinuesa sur 163,2 kilomètres devaient permettre aux échappés d'aller se jouer la gagne. Et ça a été le cas, puisque c'est Jesus Herrada (Cofidis) s'est imposé. L'Espagnol faisait partie des 26 fuyards du jour et a réglé les hommes les plus costauds de cette échappée dans les derniers hectomètres de La Laguna Negra de Vinuesa. Un tout petit peu juste lors du sprint final, le jeune Français Romain Grégoire (Groupama-FDJ) vient lui chercher une belle 2e place, devant Andreas Kron (Lotto Dstny), 3e. Chez les favoris, rien à signaler, nous n'avons pas eu le droit à la bagarre attendue et Sepp Kuss (Jumbo-Visma) conserve donc son maillot rouge de leader.
