Clark & Barron are two leaders of the Syracuse defense.
Transcript
00:00 Following Saturday's 65-0 win over Colgate, it makes sense why Syracuse is feeling pretty
00:05 comfortable in Rocky Long's 3-3-5 defensive scheme.
00:09 Earlier today I talked with Safety's Justin Barron and Elijah Clark, both saying that
00:14 the secondary played very well in the run game against Colgate.
00:18 Elijah was very happy with his performance and he has every right to be as he was the
00:23 sixth highest ranked safety in the entire country according to PFF.
00:29 After coming back from a pretty scary injury on the first drive of the game.
00:33 For Clark, he's going to continue to have that type of performance and he credits Justin
00:38 Barron as somebody that also keeps him pretty balanced as he did admit that he can be a
00:43 pretty emotional player from time to time.
00:46 When talking to Justin he said, same thing as last week, that they are not going to take
00:50 Western Michigan lightly this week, especially after the Broncos had 337 yards on the ground
00:57 in their week one win against St. Francis.
01:00 So that's definitely something that you should be keeping your eye on in this week.
01:04 I'm Griffin De La Pera, Syracuse on FAN Nation.
