00:00 Okay so by now you probably have seen this photo of the Ares Tour movie and I gotta say

00:03 I absolutely love it from the lettering to the font to the pose Taylor strikes but I

00:09 actually don't think a lot of you may have known that this image was photoshopped.

00:14 Yes, it was actually not a photo from the Ares Tour itself, it was custom designed for

00:19 this concert film poster and in this video I'm going to analyze the enhancement and

00:23 why Taylor Swift probably made these changes but first if you're new to the channel and

00:28 love uncovering things like this that no one else talks about be sure to like and subscribe.

00:32 First we gotta talk about the biggest change and that's the shift from the yellow and

00:36 blue lover bodysuit to the pink and blue one.

00:39 Now I'm actually a really big fan of the pink and blue bodysuit not just because I

00:44 got it at my show in Chicago but also because I think it best matches the original pink

00:49 and blue pastels of the lover cover.

00:52 Moreover I think it provides a better contrast with the warmer more yellow and orangish background

00:58 of this image with those cooler blues and pinks that really draw our attention.

01:04 But I think there's also a more physical and tangible change and that's the removal

01:07 of her audio headphones which were strapped to her back throughout the show.

01:12 Obviously it's hard to see it during the show because it's so well camouflaged but

01:17 I think Taylor made a good edit here to remove it from the Ares Tour concert photo as it's

01:21 still a distraction of sorts that takes away from her figure especially if you're analyzing

01:26 it closely but while I hope you found those changes cool and interesting I'd like to

01:30 note that the colors of the image have been edited as well.

01:34 For instance just look at her mouth in the film photo, it's a gaping black hole compared

01:40 to when she performed it live and I obviously don't mean that to be disparaging but it's

01:44 a small color change like this that actually can make really big differences when you have

01:49 an image that's going to be seen by millions of people.

01:52 Changes like this matter and also show that Taylor has put decent thought and effort into

01:58 this.

01:59 It's not like she just slapped a photo from her Ares Tour Cruel Summer performance and

02:03 was like voila here's the movie poster now let me get my 13 million other things I need

02:07 to complete today done.

02:09 No she actually wants this movie to be successful and that means customizing the photo in the

02:15 best way possible.

02:16 I know these days that photoshopping something may seem off putting but you gotta realize

02:20 it is absolutely something that enhances our experience.

02:24 Taylor wants to capture a very specific vibe and one that attracts and excites viewers

02:29 to go see the Ares Tour film and I really do think these changes help her achieve that.
