New Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen can't be sure of his team's identity before he coaches a game, but he's sure what he'd like the Colts to become under his leadership.

00:00 Any update on Zach Moss and where he's at?
00:02 Yeah, he's progressing well.
00:04 He was out there today with the guys.
00:06 We'll see where that goes this week,
00:07 but he's progressing well.
00:09 Is Shaq still in that concussion protocol?
00:11 He is, but same thing, he's progressing well as well.
00:14 Yeah.
00:15 Shane, does this team have an identity yet,
00:17 or is that something that will be found out in this first game?
00:20 Yeah, I think it'll be found out
00:21 throughout the course of this early on in the season.
00:23 You know what I mean?
00:24 I think, like I said last time we talked,
00:25 I think you kind of find out about your team
00:27 that first month, first four weeks, week five, week six.
00:31 Right in there, you kind of figure out really
00:32 who you are as a football team.
00:33 So we're working through that, but again, we want to be tough.
00:36 We want to be physical, and we want to play fast.
00:38 Shane, to the extent that you're able to see Shaq,
00:41 what were your impressions of the way
00:43 he came back before this injury hit?
00:45 I mean, just his leadership presence out there
00:47 and the way he sees the game and the way he studies the game,
00:50 just the presence he brings to our football team
00:52 out there defensively is tremendous for our guys.
00:54 I mean, to have a leader like him,
00:56 to see it the way he sees it,
00:57 the way he calls out plays by formation,
01:00 I mean, that stuff's invaluable,
01:01 and we're looking forward to him playing this year.
