Report recommends delay of Eraring power station closure

The New South Wales government will work with origin energy to extend the life of the Eraring coal fired power plant. A review has recommended the plant's 2025 closure be delayed, arguing that new energy projects would not be ready to plug the gaps left by Eraring’s closure.
