00:00 How did the panel go? The panel went good!
00:03 At the moment we're just putting up some plants and this amazing netting by a textile artist.
00:14 We've got to be a little bit quiet because there is a workshop happening currently with the assistant director of the production, Macbeth.
00:21 It was sick, it was sick. I enjoyed it. I feel like I learnt a lot more than I thought I would.
00:27 I would never have gotten onto a workshop like this otherwise, so seeing something for free like this makes it more accessible.
00:33 It's really nice to talk about your work in a casual way, to talk about your practice and to talk about it in front of an audience who is really interested and engaged in the conversation is really exciting.
00:48 It feels like such a necessary extension of what theatre is, being a community, a communal experience.
00:55 It's so great that the Almeida Theatre allowed us to be on the main stage. Everyone is so talented.
01:08 We have spoken word, we have poetry, we have tarot readings, witchcraft and spells and it's going to be great.
01:22 I had an incredible day today. I really enjoyed the directing workshops, the Q&A with actors and I learnt so much.
01:29 The performances were amazing. I think what was great about them is they highlighted a lot of voices that generally wouldn't be heard in this sort of setting.
01:39 It's really lovely to let them know that it is an industry that is ready to welcome them, you know.
01:47 It feels bizarre that we've done this for now two years, having joined in 2019 as the Young Producers.
01:53 There's been a pandemic in the way, but I know that everyone's put a lot of hard work in to make today happen, so I'm really, really proud of us.
