00:00 The chief of the Mandaluyong Police was arrested after he was positive for the drug test.

00:06 Police Colonel Cesar Gerente was the first to be positive for the random drug test conducted by the NCRPO on August 24.

00:14 He was again positive for the confirmatory drug test based on the results released by the PNP Forensics Group.

00:21 He has 15 days to prove that the confirmatory test results are wrong,

00:26 but the PNP is now conducting a pre-charge investigation on him.

00:31 It is possible that he will be prosecuted for the crime of drug possession,

00:34 as well as for the crime of possession of a weapon.

00:39 For now, he is in the NCRPO's restrictive custody.
