00:00 We are all patiently, or maybe some of us impatiently, waiting for the NBA season to
00:06 get started.
00:07 However, the FIBA World Cup has been super interesting.
00:10 What has stood out to you?
00:12 The superpower teams that we thought would be undefeated early, and what stood out to
00:17 me is not just watching Luka Danticic's course for Slovenia, but how you see an NBA player
00:25 and you're like, "What?"
00:27 Like Jordan Claxton is from the Philippines?
00:31 And there's guys like, I didn't know Carl Anthony Towns was Dominican Republic.
00:36 It's just the diversity.
00:38 We know NBA is a global game, and there's David Stern and Kobe Bryant and the Dream
00:43 Team who took the game overseas to unprecedented levels.
00:46 But you watch the World Cup and you're like, "Wow."
00:50 Every team has two or three, not just good players, but stars.
00:53 It's really cool to see.
00:54 Yeah, it's amazing.
00:55 All the pride that goes into it and fighting for your country in a way.
01:00 And they play, there's more passion.
01:01 I'm not saying it's better, but it's because it's three games for your country instead
01:06 of 82 games for your team.
01:08 But if you watch Canada, for example, or Australia, their whole teams are NBA players.
01:12 Yeah.
01:13 Josh Green looks great with Australia.
01:14 Josh Green with the Mavericks.
01:15 Yeah, and of course the Mavericks have five, they've got guys everywhere with Dwight Powell
01:20 for Canada.
01:21 So that's been amazing.
