The leader of the gang and another member have been charged in connection with a murder-for-hire scheme that led to the killing of an individual. Prosecutors allege the stolen COVID relief funds were used by gang members to pay for the murder and purchase firearms, including machine guns, drugs, clothing, jewelry, and vacations.
