01:07 Speaking of games Jed here preseason action wrapped up in the National Football League
01:11 some Mountaineers to update on and the moving and shakings and the happenings of some of
01:18 our former Mountaineers in the National Football League.
01:22 And for those of you who might not follow the NFL very closely you might just be a WVU
01:26 fan or a college football person.
01:30 Trey Lance who was a top pick of the 49ers just a couple of years ago.
01:34 He just got traded to the Dallas Cowboys this past week.
01:37 With that right.
01:40 Will Greer finding out that his final preseason game with Dallas or Dallas his final preseason
01:45 game I should say was going to be his final game with the Cowboys.
01:48 So a bit of an audition for Willie G if you will.
01:53 And knowing that it was his last game with the Cowboys that he was going to become a
01:56 free agent.
01:57 Well all he did was throw for three hundred and five yards rush for fifty three yards
02:02 and score four total touchdowns two of those through the air and two on the ground.
02:06 A heck of a performance Jed by our guy Willie G singing for his supper a little bit playing
02:12 for his future.
02:13 I tell you what that's about as about as good as you can go out there and do to make a statement
02:17 that you belong on an NFL roster.
02:19 If ever that phrase fit it fits here singing for his supper.
02:21 That's exactly what he was doing with us.
02:24 First of all hats off to the Cowboy organization.
02:26 Let's establish the fact no act is entirely selfless.
02:29 It was probably what was best for their quarterback room because obviously Trey Lance wasn't ready
02:33 to play Dak Prescott.
02:35 They didn't want to play.
02:36 They wanted to keep him on the shelf.
02:37 So it made perfect sense to put Will out there and give him 60 minutes of action to hop his
02:42 wares and put his best foot forward.
02:44 And boy did he.
02:45 We expect him to play pitch and catch.
02:47 It was like the old Willie G you know very accurate making solid decisions.
02:51 But he was slipper.
02:52 He was making some plays with his legs.
02:54 I don't think I've seen him run like that since his first game was a Mountaineer at
02:57 FedEx.
02:58 FedEx field yeah.
02:59 With his legs against Virginia Tech.
03:01 But hats off to him.
03:02 Something tells me that he's going to land on his feet.
03:06 Somebody else will pick him up.
03:07 To me maybe the most powerful statement coming out of that game.
03:11 First of all you heard Will's remarks very emotional.
03:13 He grows attached to a locker room.
03:15 It's genuine with what you're getting with that guy.
03:17 He's a great teammate.
03:18 But Dak Prescott's emotional remarks about Willie.
03:22 You could tell he was talking about that.
03:23 So hats off to Will Greer.
03:26 Nice tweet I saw by Chad Greer.
03:29 Very proud of his son.
03:30 Should be.
03:31 But something tells me maybe even by the time the show's over he's going to land on his
03:34 feet and be somewhere else.
03:35 Yeah I agree.
03:37 I mean our loyal listeners know this.
03:39 But for those of you who might not I work in the NFL.
03:41 I work for the Steelers and for iHeartRadio.
03:44 So I watch a lot of football with that.
03:46 Unfortunately.
03:47 I watch a lot of preseason football.
03:50 And I mean I've been at three preseason games this year alone.
03:53 And I can tell you there's a lot of bad quarterback play around National Football League.
03:58 And what Willie G showed was not bad quarterback play.
04:01 It was actually competent quarterback play.
04:03 So I'm with you.
04:04 I know we're biased obviously.
04:06 But I would be very surprised if Willie G is not finding himself on a roster or at least
04:10 a practice squad.
04:12 You know here here in the next few days.
04:13 Tuesday at 4 p.m. are when final cuts are due around the National Football League.
04:18 And teams will obviously start signing free agents and guys that become available in that
04:22 time period as well too.
04:23 So like Jed said might not be too much longer here before we get an answer on on Mr. Greer's
04:28 potential future.
04:30 Unfortunately for a former Mountaineer who was just starting his NFL career Bryce Ford
04:34 Wheaton of course just recently finished up at WVU was with the Giants was having a really
04:38 good training camp in preseason.
04:41 By a lot of indicators and a lot of predictions from people who cover the team and around
04:45 the team he was a guy who despite being undrafted was was in a great spot to make that Giants
04:50 roster or again at least hang around on the practice squad kind of like we've seen with
04:53 that organization with David Sills for a few years.
04:56 Well unfortunately for BFW really sad injury ends up tearing his ACL and he is now going
05:03 to be done for the season.
05:05 Jed that stinks for a guy who was just kind of knocking on the door of really getting
05:08 that first NFL opportunity.
05:10 And obviously we wish him all the best in a speedy recovery.
05:13 Yeah we're not going to spend as long on this one because it's far more negative but I see
05:17 it as an opportunity like you said BFW had turned some heads in camp.
05:22 Obviously the physical skills and the measurables have always been there but he was actually
05:26 making some plays in camp and you hate to see him catch a break like this.
05:30 Now here comes another opportunity that opportunity to show his dedication and commitment to the
05:34 rehab it's going to take to get back on schedule as the Giants plan for him or intend for him.
05:40 So let's see how that goes for him but getting that rehab room and get that thing right.
05:48 Do what you're told.
05:49 Show up.
05:50 In other words this is the next level of commitment for Bryce Poorwheaton.
05:54 You were showing it on the field now let's show it in the training room.
05:57 That's it.
05:58 It's a tough hand to be dealt but we've seen a lot of guys bounce back from those positions
06:02 and hopefully BFW is the next great comeback story in that regard.
06:06 Before we go to break here and get to our buddy Big Daddy back.
06:09 See this is season two of Big Daddy Mariner coming up here Jed.
06:13 We got a poll up for you on our Twitter X whatever the heck Elon Musk decides to call
06:18 it this week platform account at In The Gun podcast poll brought to you by our friends
06:24 at Toothman Ford folks we all know cars cost less than grafting so make sure you're showing
06:28 some love to Toothman as they do so much for the NIL and the opportunities of our student
06:33 athletes at WVU.
06:34 The question we asked is on the road at number seven Penn State.
06:37 It's a potentially the toughest test West Virginia has faced since and a few options
06:43 here at number one my or sorry number one Miami at home in 2002 LSU at home in 2011
06:51 Alabama on the road that neutral site Chick-fil-A kickoff game in 2014 or obviously as always
06:56 we give you the other you can add in the in the comments there.
07:02 So Jed not surprisingly Alabama winning this comfortably with 71 and a half percent of
07:07 the vote LSU and second Miami and third some people mentioned the 2013 Baylor game some
07:14 people mentioned Oklahoma a couple of those years that the Sooners have been ranked in
07:19 the top five and gone to the College Football playoff some people mentioned Miami from some
07:22 of those different years to me my answer was I voted for Alabama as well too I mean that's
07:28 the greatest modern dynasty that we've seen in sports probably and what Nick Saban has
07:32 done there I mean I guess maybe you could you could argue the Patriots is I'm talking
07:38 modern 21st century 21st century you could talk about what the Patriots have done what
07:41 Alabama Nick Saban have done that that was my vote and I'm not surprised at that that
07:46 kind of one comfortably because you don't see a team like that very often either you
07:51 know especially since since Miami left us there were as you touched on a handful of
07:57 the the mentions in the comments I mean obviously a lot from the big 12 to draw from you talked
08:01 about some of the Baylor teams you talked about some of the Oklahoma teams you could
08:04 even mention you know the 2014 TCU team so maybe even TCU from last year or even TCU
08:10 from last year so yeah you could talk about any of those as challenges to me with Alabama
08:16 so overwhelmingly winning it's almost a touch of recency bias and what I mean by that is
08:22 first of all this was before Nick Saban truly got that engine fired up this was Lane Kiffin's
08:29 first year as a coordinator it was Gibby's first year as the coordinator and he had all
08:33 this guesswork because we knew Alabama for the first time was going to enter the mainstream
08:39 as a spread offense right old school three plays in a cloud of dust offense which Nick
08:43 had been all the way up through 2013 this was the first time it got like a Murray Cooper
08:48 which actually put the great use in the perimeter in that offense that was a team of course
08:53 they were loaded Derrick Henry TJ Yeldon I mean defensively Reggie Ragland Landon Collins
08:57 Nick Perry the names could go on but I think there were many better Alabama teams down
09:03 the line that was a good there were there were there certainly were and I think that
09:06 if you truly revisit what those best Miami teams were all about wow they got all the
09:13 famous Hall of Famers not those first round picks those Hall of Famers up against just
09:18 about anybody and LSU didn't get a whole lot of love which surprised I thought it would
09:22 be a little more balanced but you know that was you know uh honey badger the whole Ira
09:27 Matthew Maurice Claiborne yeah and ugly offense and special latter more I mean they had like
09:31 three guys on that defense that's right had in the secondary alone that had great NFL
09:35 career I mean it was like Beckham was on that team but he wasn't utilized right right so
09:40 same with Jarvis Landry right I think so yeah but anyway I think what it speaks to is the
09:46 measure of the team we're about to face on Saturday that's why I thought it was worth
09:50 this conversation I mean every so often West Virginia faces a team of this caliber or at
09:56 least what you're anticipating to be of this caliber and Penn State's right up there in
10:00 terms of the top first round picks they're going to churn out the depth they have the
10:05 big games they're going to be in some of which they're going to win so that's what you're
10:09 potentially looking at with this Penn State team and I thought it warranted maybe a poll
10:14 like that to see what people's thoughts might be well I tell you what good stuff good reaction
10:20 on that poll some good conversation and you know speaking of big time games big time opponents
10:25 Jed and Skyler doing a great breakdown on our previous episode of ITG of the largest
10:29 crowds that the WVU has ever played in front of we can argue about potentially the toughest
10:34 test but after this weekend the largest crowd will not be an argument good stuff from from

13:10 let's go mountaineer fans you're tuned in to in the gun with Wes the runaway beer truck
13:18 and the signal caller back in the gun here it is our second year of doing this WVU football
13:27 podcast our second season around mountaineer football here and with that it's season number
13:32 two of big daddy mariner as well Sean if you were going to be season two of a show what
13:38 season two of a show would you be I'm going to immediately say because it's a little bit
13:43 of recency bias justified justified season two with the Bennett clan mama moonshine best
13:52 season of justified no question my son would be so happy to hear that see that's what I
13:56 think but I not yeah I will probably be more compared to season two of the wire widely
14:03 considered season two and what about the bear you watch the bear Sean yeah I watched the
14:08 bear did I watch season two three times on vacation the Christmas the Christmas episode
14:14 season two every episode when spoiler alert Scott put it up there spoiler alert when he
14:21 presents Jimmy with the little with the banana at the end made you cry didn't it Declan walked
14:29 in one time while I was watching on my Kindle and I had to like reorient myself because
14:34 my two year old son saw me just like sobbing watching the show this this is forty big daddy
14:40 this is alright well we're not referring character with yeah I think so he's our church lady
14:49 I'm so sorry I think so hey we're SNL you're interested right I'm interested to see how
14:54 this character arc evolves here I mean I'll go with this he stay face is he turn and heal
14:59 here at some point is his lightsaber still green or has it changed colors I'm going white
15:04 I'm out Sean Penn State Happy Valley Beaver Stadium right I mean they haven't played since
15:12 you and I were kids but first thing you think Penn State you think about this game Saturday
15:17 where's your mind wander I'm excited I've never been to a game at Beaver Stadium so
15:22 I'm very excited to see what that's going to be like I have a lot of the cherry what
15:28 pop in the cherries one and done so I've got a lot of friends that have been there lifelong
15:34 fans one of my college roommates brother-in-law went there like I've visited Penn State to
15:39 hang out with them and do collegiate things but never a game been up a couple times to
15:44 film WVU running in like cross-country meets and everything but this is going to be the
15:48 first time at the big house one of one of my correlations with State Colleges growing
15:53 up every single summer the Mariner clan Lemoine Big Mike and tubby little baby Sean got in
15:59 the car ate breakfast at a diner in Blairsville then took the back way up to State College
16:05 for the Pennsylvania State Forestry Fair and then ate at Haas's on the way back home in
16:09 Bedford and went back to Old Marshall County I love that you call it the big house shots
16:14 fired yeah I'm ready to see it's bigger than the big house isn't it bigger than the big
16:20 house yes bigger than the big what's the really the big house here we're talking about I love
16:24 that story from you Sean too because when I so I've got family in Carlisle PA also big
16:29 Penn State fans big Penn State people lots of aunts and uncles and cousins that went
16:33 to school there and I used to spend a week out in Carlisle with my family every summer
16:38 and my grandpa would meet my mom in Bedford at that Haas's as well and we would have lunch
16:42 there and then I'd go with my grandpa for the week and my mom would drive back home
16:46 so all roads lead to the Haas's in Bedford widely considered the best Haas's I think
16:51 I think that was a universal truth it's my truth it's your truth that's all that matters
16:56 to me so listen this crowd here's what you guys need to know okay a couple a couple spoiler
17:02 alerts they're like I don't know they're almost like a I don't Taylor Swift you know what
17:08 it's almost like it's a very church like congregation like feel like they have a lot
17:13 of things that the Jumbotron says something or play something and everybody in that place
17:17 knows what to do and they all do one thing and then they all do the other thing and they
17:20 all do this thing and they all do that thing now it's impressive it also says to me that
17:23 they're way too sober at those games because if you had had as many beverages as you should
17:27 like Owen and I do before we go to the games all right we're too drunk for all that fancy
17:31 stuff all right I ain't got time for all of this but it's just random yelling from you
17:35 to one or random naps for Owen on my shoulder at halftime the one thing that they do though
17:45 that is pretty and they sing songs and jump up and down and do all this different stuff
17:48 and they got pom poms and all this it's very SEC like in a lot of ways but the one cool
17:53 thing that they do do I'll tell you guys that you got to be on the lookout for is they do
17:56 the wave okay but I hate the wave like the normal just wave I hate it it drives me crazy
18:01 I think it's dumb I think it's overplayed I think what for whatever reason whenever
18:05 my team's fans do it they always end up losing the game they do though like synchronized
18:12 wave right so it goes around the stadium once in norm or twice in normal wave and then it
18:17 stops and then it goes back the other way a couple times and then it stops and then
18:21 it breaks in half and goes around two ways it was again impressive but I'm too drunk
18:27 for that fancy stuff yes I am interested to see again Wes you said they haven't played
18:33 since we were 92 was the last time I'm seven years old I don't remember anything Penn State
18:40 other than the run I believe jet had a touchdown in that 92 game that was pretty good sound
18:45 that sounds right and but I have no correlative memories of that like I do playing other teams
18:52 but not a shot fired here but we went to Virginia Tech last year that was my first time at Virginia
18:57 Tech Sandman was okay everybody had built it up into this thing I liked it I was happy
19:04 I got to be there but it was not this earth shattering completely stadium shaking thing
19:09 that had been built up to be so I'm interested to see what over a hundred thousand is built
19:15 they won't they won't let you down we both get this right we've been to big places before
19:20 but but this this is you and I were the locker room at Virginia Tech last year and we both
19:26 looked at each other and normally we'd hang out for a little bit longer we're like we
19:30 don't want to miss Sandman so both of us left the locker and we headed out of the corridor
19:34 to make sure we were out on the field in time for it and again it was pretty cool but I
19:37 really don't know how you could live up to the expectations that we'd walked into but
19:42 but Big Daddy we've been we did a show this week the 10 largest crowds in the history
19:47 of West Virginia I think I've worked seven of them now it just tells you really old but
19:52 you've been there for a lot of them yeah and four through ten were all losses one through
19:58 three were all wins and they were all at Texas yeah 2012-2018 what was it 16 with the weird
20:05 like 16 Skyler Howard you're in the middle of the field waiting to see if the game was
20:09 over yeah yeah yeah yeah so I mean listen I'll tell you guys this now I do think it's
20:15 to be fair and I'm not trying to make excuses for Virginia Tech like I think if Virginia
20:20 Tech was ranked in the top 10 and that was a and that was a Saturday night primetime
20:24 game instead of a third instead of a weeknight I bet you you would have been a little more
20:27 impressed but I've been to two games at Beaver Stadium before both in primetime both against
20:33 Ohio State and I was not underwhelmed let's put it that way I like I've been to the big
20:40 house I've been to a Michigan Notre Dame game as well too in Ann Arbor nighttime primetime
20:44 game it wasn't even it was like a high school football game compared to Penn State and it
20:50 wasn't even close the atmosphere at Michigan if it if it was a it was a three or a four
20:56 to Penn State's 10 I mean I I think you guys will be as much as I hate giving them credit
21:01 in this regard their their atmosphere is pretty sick well when they announced it was going
21:05 to be a night game on a Saturday night me my friends at like by Penn State people I
21:11 was immediately like it's just are they gonna blow the whiteout game early like are we gonna
21:14 be the whiteout game right out of the game pretty close to one it's it's pretty much
21:18 one in spirit right but I got a helmet game if we're there and it's the whiteout game
21:24 like this is just gonna be insanity it's insane it's like guys I literally I said this to
21:30 Jed and Owen on I think the last episode that we all recorded together one of the years
21:33 when I was there against Ohio State I was using the bathroom and like the second court
21:37 you know like the tailgate it finally caught up to me and it's like early second quarter
21:41 and I gotta go take a leak right like I am in the bathroom underneath the student section
21:46 and like it's all like open air like it's an old stadium right so it's all like open
21:51 air like you can see up through all the rafters and all the steel work and everything and
21:55 it's literally like shake like the stadium is shaking above the bathroom I'm like falling
21:59 on you oh yeah like legitimately like look like something that you see like when you
22:04 see videos of like like I don't know like big huge soccer stadiums and like Argentina
22:09 you know what I mean and like the whole upper section is like bouncing it was incredible
22:14 like I remember being like holy crap like this might not be safe like yeah they had
22:18 a period in time where they had to stop playing zombie nation for like two years yeah so they
22:22 could do structural repairs to the student section because it was so loose from them
22:27 jumping up and down and going like they could not play zombie nation in the stadium for
22:31 two years because they had to do structural repairs to the integrity of like the lower
22:36 bowl it's again I feel dirty I'm gonna need to go shower as soon as we get off here because
22:40 I'm saying these nice things about Penn State but I think you guys will be impressed here's
22:43 what we're gonna do Skyler's listening in our producer I think I'm gonna give you last
22:52 year's largest Penn State crowd and last year's smallest Penn State crowd we're all four gonna
22:58 guess okay Price is Right style right and see who comes closest we'll revisit it next
23:04 week to see who comes closest so last year... RIP Bob Barker. RIP Bob Barker. Where's our
23:12 chicken noodle soup and our ginger ale in honor of Bob Barker. Let's do it in honor
23:18 of the late Bob Barker and have your pets say it too. Last year seven home games their
23:25 smallest crowd was Michigan State and that was I'm writing this down 105,154 that was
23:34 their smallest their largest crowd was Minnesota Beanie Bishop played in this game okay 109,813
23:46 so with that frame of reference let's all four guess who wants to go first lowest 105,154
23:54 highest 109,813 that doesn't mean they can't have some I guess they have standing room
23:58 only to get that higher higher are they gonna break that whatever number you want to float
24:01 out there let's Skyler if you're documenting our guesses then we can double back next week
24:07 and see who comes closest to win what is official official capacity for Beaver Stadium that's
24:13 what I was just trying to look up here the official capacity is where was it it was just
24:20 right there 106,572 okay so that Minnesota game had some standing room only action yes
24:26 okay yes yes their record attendance is 110,889 so 110,000 yeah Ohio State 2018 110,889 is
24:42 their attendance record okay okay I think I'm ready to guess you guys ready yeah I'm
24:49 with it okay here's what I'm gonna say I'm going to think the buzz surrounding this team
24:55 the fact that it's a 730 kick the fact that again we had the novelty effect with Texas
25:00 back in 2012 Big Daddy you'd agree yes easily the most energy we've ever seen in that building
25:06 at DKR was that first year when we were absolutely the new conference team then played us in
25:10 a long bit but since the 50s in that building okay so I think the novelty effect does play
25:15 a role against an old regional foe I'm not gonna call it a rivalry I think we got a shot
25:21 because of all this record-setting buzz up in the Penn State nation we have a chance
25:28 to break that that crowd record because of the buzz surrounding this team because it's
25:32 a 730 kick and just because we haven't played them in 30 years that's a little bit of a
25:37 wrinkle I think we have a shot to break that 110,889 with standing room oh I think we got
25:42 a shot again these people are fired up about this 2023 Penn State team up there they are
25:49 eating with a big spoon and I do think they all want to be part of this to kick off the
25:54 season no matter who they're playing and it helps a little bit that it's a team they haven't
25:58 got to see in 30 years and they think they're gonna show up and just have their way with
26:02 us knock us around they want to be part of it bear witness I think we got a shot to break
26:06 that record so I'm going over on the one time to say 110 and even 900 you got it Skyler
26:15 1,900 that's an ambitious guess I would be beating it by 11 seats 11 seats 11 I just
26:22 I don't want to underestimate the buzz up there in Happy Valley around this team right
26:26 now even by their standards it's crazy buzz I agree with that it is it is a big buzz team
26:33 I do know a lot of people from West Virginia that are going up to this game this is a bucket
26:38 list game for many people I'll rage you never really got to see them that said I do think
26:44 that Ohio State late in the year both of them are normally in contention that that always
26:51 I think Trump's even what a really big big old regional foe can be I still think we have
26:58 a chance at top three top five all time I'm gonna go 110,000 423 Wow that would be the
27:10 fifth biggest crowd in history let's show for it all right all right let's see here
27:19 I so I we say I think it's good I think it's gonna be a little bit more than their largest
27:31 game last year the hype the holiday weekend the you know border states who don't play
27:38 very often in two fan bases that that love football and love a party as well to tell
27:43 you guys this though right everybody knows this what's one what's the one thing we know
27:46 about these big 10 schools a lot like these SEC schools they they touch themselves to
27:51 the thought of the conference that they're in right I mean a big 10 oh it's the big 10
27:55 the SEC oh it's this Southeastern Conference yeah they're gonna want that attendance record
28:01 oh it's against Ohio State it's a big 10 game look how many people were there so I think
28:05 we get close I'm gonna go with a number that would be the looks like 10th biggest crowd
28:13 11th biggest crowd in stadium history a little bit more than they had for their opener last
28:17 year I'll go 109 889 so 109,000 889 all right now we got to hear from the guy that was part
28:27 of the big I was doing the math you're Yankees that's what that's what the oh sick oh five
28:31 oh six oh seven Mountaineers refer to the Yankees we used to go on the road and sell
28:37 them out right here the hat so let's let's hear it big oh so Wes you went 109 is that
28:41 we just is that we did yeah 109 8 I'm gonna do 109 even oh I like that man there's some
28:53 strategy there I think yes yes these prices are a win us you might get to roll the wheel
28:57 at the end for the showcase now Jed here's one for you I'm surprised that you didn't
29:03 bring this up in your research okay twice twice twice before in Beaver Stadium history
29:08 the largest game was against WVU oh we are we have some Penn State's in our top 10 or
29:13 a top 20 especially but yeah you can see here's the conversation we had not just that game
29:19 but the LSU game the Auburn game what you see is the expansion of these stadiums over
29:24 the course of the last 15 20 30 years because we sold those stadiums out in those Penn State
29:29 games my fact one year was 80 some thousand sold out it was 86 86 86 3 in 1983 that was
29:38 the that was a stadium record there for 15 years before they did renovation 6,000 and
29:43 like 91 or so right really yep yeah but again it didn't seat as many and 90 right and then
29:50 there we had there's throughout the 60s and 70s until they did renovations we had there's
29:56 their stadium their stadium really so twice bigger and bigger same with LSU we you know
30:01 we were a sellout Big Daddy in 2010 and that's not let me see yeah that was my first season
30:08 the Patrick the Patrick Peterson game and but the stadiums larger now yeah so it wasn't
30:13 a hundred thousand seat stadium Tiger Stadium wasn't right right how many of these were
30:17 now so many of them are there's and that's like what that's like we'll never get close
30:22 unless they change something without in your field to the attendance record for WVU because
30:26 it was back when they it was when the end zone was open before they turned it into sweets
30:29 so yeah that was a lot of standing room only to that Miami it was it absolutely was and
30:33 that was what little over 70 I think right like 70 little over 70 71 like a pit game
30:40 in 89 had 68 and 03 Virginia Tech and 07 I think 67 is what we pushed for the stadiums
30:46 like seven or eight thousand seats smaller now so yeah yeah because you do it in the
30:51 name of the sweets baby yeah no that's interesting I didn't know that that twice twice in a twice
30:56 in our history we had had the the joint attendance record there with Penn State in the 60s and
31:03 in the 70s until renovations and then in the 80s in the 90s until until renovations as
31:07 well to state traditionally considered their regional rivals back in the day yeah like
31:13 Temple right Rutgers in Maryland yeah yeah that's right Maryland that's right that was
31:18 a crazy strange but as long as it wasn't well listen when when when Penn State and pit are
31:24 both so sanctimonious they would rather just argue about who cares more and who needs who
31:28 more than actually play what would be one of the best rivalries in college sports yeah
31:33 I'm not surprised that they'd actually let's go let's go see Rutgers instead actually pit
31:38 would be like yeah we'll go talk to Syracuse yeah let's do it bunch of freaking squares
31:43 um yeah I don't know anything else big daddy anything that we missed on you know speak
31:48 now or hold your peace till the next time we have you on the program I'm I'm just ready
31:53 to get up there I want to see what we got about lean on the sidelines and get a plan
31:58 together big day yes figure it out have something yeah pregame we always get something cooking
32:02 hey watch this watch for that do this that we'll have a plan we'll have a strategy we'll
32:05 be locked in don't worry gang yeah me and big daddy will team up get something working
32:10 we'll be locked in don't worry gang I'm listen I'm I know you guys are professionals all
32:14 right I know you guys just when the wave when the wave goes all right and the wave you know
32:20 it's pretty cool too like it breaks and it goes opposite directions like I was telling
32:23 you guys and then they like speed it up and then they slow it down I was I was a really
32:28 big impressive but they're too sober way too way too sober way too sober oh and Wes what
32:32 was it when we were little they're not dominoes but you remember the the the like neon colored
32:37 blocks that you would set up and they would what were they called yeah I was obsessed
32:42 with those Declan my son is getting obsessed with them too so we're watching YouTube like
32:46 crazy on that stuff that's what I'm envisioning like the waving of all of those I'm so old
32:52 I can't get out of my head slinky the slinky a wonderful wonderful thing yes I'm a total
32:58 I am yeah that's how old I am you're like Ace Ventura going down the stairs at that
33:04 monk temple and in an when nature calls right oh yeah gentlemen enjoy it I'm I am it's funny
33:12 Sean you said like that bucket list thing like whenever they announced this game 10
33:16 years ago like if you would have told me at any point in the last nine years that I wasn't
33:20 going to the game I would have been like no no chance like I'm definitely going to that
33:23 game but I have two kids under the age of two the games at 730 at night and hotel rooms
33:28 are $800 a piece and you have to get two nights as well too yeah exactly so unfortunately
33:35 I'm not there would you say that again would you say domino rally domino rally right I
33:45 love how Owen just had a light doesn't care about the game at this point yeah he's doing
33:50 no breakdown he's all he was not he was just he was just waiting on those dude I knew it
33:55 was a domino thing and then I'm like looking it up I'm like all right yeah he was just
33:58 smiling and waving for those two minutes there while he was trying to trying to figure out
34:03 what your hasbro lifeline under the table google so you couldn't see the hands because
34:07 yeah I mean you know like Sean said I mean it's been 30 years 31 years it might be another
34:12 30 you know Sean and I might be in our 60s we might be pushing 70 by the time I'd be
34:17 granted if you ever goes out to pet and stayed out the happy valley I'll be pushing daisies
34:21 next time what happens so but but I can't complain all right I'll be I've been fortunate
34:28 to go to go to a lot of games like you too so it's a I can't complain but yeah everybody
34:33 who's going enjoy it it's going to be a it's going to be a heck of an atmosphere and hopefully
34:37 one where our boys will stand tall and they'll they'll make that atmosphere last well into
34:42 the fourth quarter and keep those keep those fans engaged and on the edge of their seats
34:46 and and all those different things Sean thanks partner which appreciated it good good start
