00:02 Spain ends up winning the cup and then Ruby Alice afterwards,
00:07 apparently goes over to one of the women who was on the team and
00:11 ends up kissing them.
00:13 This is basically the kiss scene around the world,
00:17 I would say at this point.
00:19 Right after it happened,
00:21 I know the athlete had said that there was much to do about nothing.
00:25 That is not going to fly, it looks like at this point,
00:28 as there's been a suspension now from FIFA.
00:31 This is a hard story to cover, isn't it?
00:35 >> It is, it's a mess.
00:37 And it's unfortunate to see because it was such a big moment for
00:42 this federation to win the Women's World Cup.
00:46 It just was such a next step for them.
00:50 They'd never even made the quarter finals of a World Cup and
00:53 then they went on to win it.
00:54 It's a supremely talented team.
00:56 But the situation has just overshadowed everything and
01:00 just been a massive bombshell to the world of women's soccer.
01:03 And it's so unfortunate because the Spanish Federation has
01:09 supported a guy who has clearly crossed the line.
01:14 And it's just taken step after step after step and
01:18 taken crazy twists, this story.
01:21 I mean, the Spanish Federation called a press conference early in this saga
01:25 to announce Luis Rubiales' resignation.
01:28 He stood up at the podium at this press conference after the media was briefed
01:31 that he would be resigning.
01:33 And he basically wolf of Wall Street, he stood up there and said,
01:37 I'm not resigning.
01:38 And since then, it's been a nightmare.
01:40 The coaching staff has, they've resigned except for the head coach.
01:48 And they've suspended, FIFA had to step in and suspend him.
