00:00 Hi guys, this is my get ready with me look.
00:02 I'm here in London and I'm gonna show you
00:04 what I would do for an evening
00:06 with my friends at a restaurant here.
00:08 So follow my lead.
00:10 First step is moisturize and this is Kiehl's
00:18 Ultra Facial Cream.
00:20 This one just doesn't break me out,
00:21 it's really simple but it's super hydrating.
00:24 So I just go over my face like that
00:26 and my neck, don't forget.
00:27 As I do this, I'm gonna tell you about my
00:29 Sports Illustrated experience so far
00:32 with the Swim Influence Network.
00:33 It's been so, so much fun and oh my god,
00:38 it's been such a dream come true to experience all this
00:41 and meet everyone on the team.
00:43 It's been incredible.
00:44 Miami Swim Week show was so much fun.
00:47 We were all in the backstage and then it was like
00:49 torrential, tropical rain starts falling down.
00:52 We're all getting soaked, we're just like
00:54 walking down the runway.
00:55 It was just so much fun.
00:57 It's just such a female orientated brand
01:01 and it's just so lovely 'cause everyone is just so
01:04 here for everyone and cheering everyone on.
01:06 It's just, it's a really, really beautiful experience.
01:09 So the next step is I will pop my foundation on
01:13 and I like to use a little bit of Chanticleer,
01:16 oil-free, I think it's vanilla, oil-free gel foundation
01:21 and I use a little bit of the slip tint from Saie as well
01:24 and I'll just mix those in and I just tend to work
01:27 in the middle of my face outwards
01:29 so it blends nicely in.
01:32 If you're considering applying for the next year
01:36 of applications for Sports Illustrated
01:39 Swim Influence Network, I think why the hell not?
01:43 Why wouldn't you do it?
01:44 If you're thinking about it, it means that you want it
01:45 and I think, you know, what's the worst that can happen?
01:49 You know, for me, it's been one of the most
01:51 beautiful experiences so it's 100% worthwhile
01:54 putting yourself out there.
01:55 Don't forget to blend down to your neck as well.
01:59 You don't want that line.
02:02 And so that is that step
02:08 and as you can see, it's such a nice, beautiful glow.
02:10 I love these two products.
02:12 Okay, so the next step, what I put on my skin as a base
02:16 is my Chanticleer oil-free gel foundation
02:21 and I mix that with the Say Slip Tint
02:24 and in the day, I normally just use Slip Tint on its own
02:27 just because it's got a 35 SPF in
02:31 and then what I like to do is mix them two at night time
02:34 so there's a little bit more coverage
02:35 but I still get that really nice, youthful, healthy glow.
02:39 I think I blended that in
02:41 and as you can see, these two products
02:43 work so nicely together.
02:44 I just love the way that it makes my skin kind of glow.
02:47 Basically what I do is just pull it up,
02:49 a little crazy but you pull it upwards always
02:54 'cause you wanna be lifted
02:57 and make sure you blend in.
02:59 Then I like to go in with my contour stick
03:02 from Westman Italia and again, I love this brand
03:05 because it's not commodogenic
03:07 and they're really clean beauty products that she makes
03:11 so I really, really love this brand
03:13 and I'll just go underneath my cheekbone but not too low.
03:16 I like to go along the cheekbone.
03:20 So just like that and try and do it evenly
03:22 and I like to kind of put one here, one here.
03:26 I like to go underneath my nose
03:28 and along the sides of my nose.
03:30 A little bit here, just on that bit there
03:35 and then I'll go along the line of my jaw,
03:40 sometimes a tiny bit in the middle here
03:43 and underneath here
03:45 and then I'll use that little concealer brush
03:47 and just wipe it off a little bit
03:48 and I'll use that just to go in on my eyelids
03:53 to just give it a bit more depth
03:57 and kind of draw you to my eye a little bit more.
04:00 So the highlight of my experience so far
04:03 with Sports Illustrated I would say
04:06 has to be to do with the people.
04:09 That's down to the finalists that I'm also with.
04:12 All the girls are so fabulous, they're amazing.
04:15 They have amazing stories to tell
04:17 and they're just fantastic.
04:19 Like they've just got the most amazing energy
04:22 and then it comes down to as well the team.
04:24 The team are so incredible.
04:26 Like these women are just inspiring by themselves
04:29 and they're what make the magazine work
04:32 and so it's really, really cool.
04:34 That's been the most amazing part for me
04:36 and the most inspiring
04:37 and then I just use my foundation brush.
04:39 I kind of just use the same brush for the whole time.
04:41 I use my foundation brush to blend it upwards and out.
04:44 (upbeat music)
04:46 I was in the fashion industry for years and years and years
04:55 and I got into it very young
04:57 and I was encouraged to lose a lot of weight
05:01 and an unhealthy amount
05:03 because I had a larger bust very naturally.
05:06 And so they said, "Lose weight, lose weight, lose weight,"
05:09 because they wanted me to be a fashion model.
05:12 So I wanted to do it so badly that I did it
05:15 and I lost so much weight
05:16 that I actually turned off my hormones
05:18 and it meant that my female hormones shut down.
05:22 And by doing this, it meant that I was at risk
05:24 of not being able to have children again
05:26 and many more of the factors of unhealthiness
05:29 come along with that,
05:30 but that was the main reason why I had to change my mindset
05:33 and go, "Oh my God, do I need to do something about this?"
05:37 Obviously I did, but it was extremely difficult
05:41 and actually it was through holistic health
05:45 and rather than the Western medicine
05:47 that actually I found my health again.
05:50 And so I realized how powerful that was
05:52 and actually finding your balance
05:54 in so many areas of your life,
05:55 but naturally it's the key to being healthiest and happiest
05:59 and your body just thanks you for it
06:01 and you become your most happy, healthy, sexy self.
06:05 And I just can't wait to share that with the world.
06:07 It's the most beautiful message
06:09 that I've learned in my life so far
06:10 and I just think it's so, so powerful.
06:14 So that's what I would love to share with Sports Illustrated
06:17 and go into depth with that and talk to other women
06:20 that have gone through similar things as myself.
06:22 So as you can see, this is my kind of base now
06:26 and I will go in on my eyebrows next.
06:29 So for the brows,
06:30 I'm gonna use the Anastasia Brow Wiz in Ash Brown.
06:35 I love this little pencil 'cause it's very skinny
06:37 and it has a little tool on the end
06:40 that I brush my brows up with.
06:42 Brush them up and then what I do is just go in like this
06:48 and I like to kind of fill in like this gap here that I have.
06:52 I don't know why, I just have a gap there.
06:56 And I just do it in very lightly.
06:57 I don't like to have too much in my brows,
06:59 but I like to have enough where it's defined
07:01 and it looks even on each side.
07:04 Holistic health is basically a 360 approach
07:09 to all areas of your life.
07:11 It's not just looking at nutrition,
07:13 it's looking at your home environment,
07:15 your relationships, your sexuality, your spirituality,
07:20 your home cooked food, your finances,
07:24 your whatever it is.
07:25 There's so many different things
07:26 that you have to look at into your life.
07:29 And what you wanna do as a holistic health coach
07:31 is find out what those imbalances are
07:34 and then bring them into balance.
07:36 And then by doing that,
07:38 you'll bring balance into all areas of your life
07:41 and you'll find it to be your most grounded self.
07:44 And so for myself, I found that I was in high stress.
07:48 I had so much cortisol going around my body constantly
07:52 and I was just suppressing it all the time.
07:54 I was very lonely.
07:55 I was traveling all the time,
07:57 so I didn't have a place to call home.
07:59 So many aspects of my life were out of balance,
08:02 like many of us, and I didn't even realize
08:04 that it was such an issue until I addressed them.
08:07 And once I started doing that,
08:09 I realized that my eating habits changed,
08:12 my mental health was changing,
08:13 the way I talked to myself was changing,
08:15 my friends were changing, and all for the better.
08:19 After I've colored them in a little bit,
08:21 I use the Anastasia Brow Freeze Gel
08:25 and I just use that little stick that's on the end of there
08:29 and I just brush through them
08:31 so that they kind of just stick
08:34 into the place you want them to
08:35 and they look nice and neat and fanned out.
08:38 I kind of like that laminated brow look,
08:40 so for me, this product is very nice.
08:44 And the nice thing about this as well
08:46 is if you color too dark in your brows
08:49 and you brush through them afterwards,
08:51 it breaks up the color
08:53 and it makes it look like you've got more brow.
08:55 So it fills them out and looks very natural.
08:57 My next step is my blusher
08:59 and I use the DW Dewy Cheek and Lip Palette.
09:04 And so as you can see,
09:05 they've got all these different colors.
09:08 There's definitely a theme in my makeup,
09:09 I like it to look a little bit dewy
09:11 and then what I do is go over with powder
09:13 where I don't want to look dewy.
09:15 So then I dab in
09:16 and I'll just keep going around the apple of my cheek
09:21 and bring it upwards.
09:23 I think for my face, it suits when I kind of go
09:27 a little bit under my eye and then pull it round like this.
09:31 I just think it looks really natural
09:33 and youthful, it's nice.
09:36 And sometimes I like to use it on my eyelids as well
09:39 'cause it makes it feel like it just kind of
09:41 pulls it all through.
09:43 And again, go around there.
09:46 Someone once told me you should put it onto your neck as well
09:48 I mean, why not, we'll try.
09:51 So that kind of just brings more life to the makeup now.
09:53 Then I like to go through with Laura Mercier,
09:57 what is this one called?
09:58 This is called the Secret Brightening Powder
10:01 for the under eye.
10:02 So this one I use for the under eye
10:05 and I'll just go through underneath like this,
10:09 the corners and just like sets everything
10:13 but it's still brightening and shiny which I like.
10:18 So it looks like this, this is the powder.
10:20 I'm just gonna push underneath,
10:23 a little bit on top there so you don't get a crease there.
10:28 And pull down a little bit.
10:29 And then I'll go in with my other powder from Laura Mercier
10:34 and this one's kind of got a little bit of a skin,
10:37 oh gosh, I've just poured that everywhere, a skin tint.
10:40 And I use my other brush which is a little bit bigger,
10:42 it's still small and I just kind of dab that away like so.
10:47 And I just go into the places where,
10:48 normally when you think about a picture,
10:51 where does it show up that you don't like it?
10:53 So that's always under here for me,
10:55 I hate when I get shiny around here.
10:57 But I don't want too much, so just a light layer.
11:00 Now I've done all of that, now I'm gonna go into my eyes.
11:04 So I just wanna do a very, very basic kind of look.
11:08 I like to keep my eyes fairly minimal most of the time
11:12 unless I'm gonna do a darker look
11:13 but this is my like average evening,
11:17 pretty lazy but it kind of works every time.
11:19 So this is Surratte
11:21 and I use the dark brown felt tip fine line pen.
11:24 I like to pull it up so where my eye at the bottom
11:28 goes up here, I follow that line upwards.
11:31 And so it will pull up a little bit like so,
11:36 you're gonna see that.
11:38 I keep it super fine and I just attach the bottom to that
11:43 and then pull it through my nail like that.
11:46 And so it's really, really, really simple.
11:49 Like it's not like it's obvious,
11:52 it just kind of elongates your like natural eye line
11:55 and this pen's really good
11:56 because it doesn't transfer onto the bottom layer.
12:00 So I just pull it through
12:03 and I kind of just dab through the eye line
12:05 just so that it looks like it's connected.
12:07 I probably look crazy doing this.
12:11 So you can see the difference,
12:15 it just kind of very, very subtly pulls through,
12:18 it just shows the shape of your eye line so much better.
12:21 I think the best practices for grounding yourself,
12:26 number one for me, works a treat every single time.
12:30 If you can't meditate, take yourself into nature,
12:32 go for a walk in a park or go for a swim.
12:36 Swimming is amazing for that.
12:39 Go for a hike.
12:40 You know, when I lived in New York,
12:42 the first thing I would do pretty much every single morning
12:45 was take myself to Central Park and walk around.
12:48 And whether that's just listening to the birds
12:51 or saying hello to the little doggies in the park,
12:54 it's just such a grounding experience
12:57 and it will lift your mood instantly.
13:00 Then what I'm gonna go do is I'm gonna go in
13:03 just on the ends of my eyelashes
13:05 because my eyelashes are very long.
13:08 So if I put a lot of mascara on,
13:10 it can sometimes look a bit too intense.
13:12 If I wanna just have a very chill night
13:14 going to a restaurant with my friends,
13:16 I'll just literally go along the ends of my lashes like so.
13:21 And not forgetting the corner ones.
13:26 I pull them in that way when I'm going in the corner
13:29 and I pull them out going out.
13:31 It's hard to tell what it's like,
13:33 but it's just a little bit there.
13:34 It's a very like, it's just cute.
13:37 It's just cute.
13:37 I'm just gonna go there.
13:39 Because if I go intense, that's a whole other look.
13:43 And I'll just do the side like so
13:45 and then pull it in and then pull out like that.
13:49 And then I'll do the same on the bottom lashes.
13:51 I'll just pull along.
13:53 Nothing crazy, just a little bit.
13:56 And then pull inwards like that.
13:59 Now I'm gonna go in on my lips
14:00 and I'm using the RMS Beauty Go Nude Lip Pencil.
14:05 And I think this one is called Sunset Nude.
14:08 It's a really nice color actually.
14:09 It's really like a brownie, brownie rosy color.
14:13 It's nice.
14:14 And what I do first of all is I go in on my cupid's bow.
14:18 Don't go too dark to begin with.
14:21 You can always build it up.
14:22 You wanna make sure that it's even on both sides.
14:26 And then what I'll do is do a line down the middle.
14:29 And then I'm gonna color upwards here.
14:34 Like so.
14:37 And just kind of like bring it in a little bit.
14:42 So I haven't filled it in fully.
14:44 And then what I'll do is just use the brush
14:47 on the other end.
14:48 I'm just gonna blend it in a little bit.
14:50 So I'm coming towards the end of my tutorial now.
14:56 And hopefully that wasn't too complicated.
14:58 So just pull that in.
15:02 And that is my kind of everyday going out
15:11 to a restaurant in London chic vibes look.
15:15 (upbeat music)
15:17 (upbeat music)
