00:00 Ladies and gentlemen, the new AEW Women's World Champion, Norwich's own, Soraya.
00:07 Look at me, you guys.
00:09 Didn't think I was going to win this, did you?
00:15 Hello.
00:16 Everyone's very quiet in here.
00:17 Why is this so awkward?
00:18 Come on, England.
00:19 You're better than this.
00:20 All right.
00:21 What do we have?
00:22 Do we have some questions around here for you and your champ?
00:24 Hello, champ.
00:25 It's Scott Felstad, Muscle and Fitness.
00:27 Great to see you back on top where you belong.
00:29 Can you talk to us about your story and just what an amazing night this must be for you?
00:33 And also all the kind of physical rehabilitation that you'll have had to have gone through and getting back in the ring.
00:38 Just give us a flavor for how you're feeling.
00:40 Yeah.
00:41 I'm not just going to say it just because you're sitting right beside me, but you have no idea how much he's helped me in my comeback and just believing in me and being like, "Listen, we're going to go look at your neck and we're going to see it.
00:52 And if it's 100%, then I'm backing you 100%."
00:54 And it was, and it was just wonderful.
00:56 And he didn't give me this straight away, and I'm thankful for that because we got to tell stories and have fun and do outcasts.
01:03 And it's the most fun I've ever had.
01:05 Me, Tony, and Ruby together, we have a great time and we're enjoying it every single week.
01:12 And we love everything that he's been doing for us.
01:14 And it's just absolutely incredible.
01:15 And I'm appreciative that I got this moment here in the UK.
01:18 And it's awesome having my whole family here.
01:21 Got Queen and everything.
01:22 I was like, "Bloody hell."
01:23 But yeah, it was just really, really cool.
01:26 And just the process of it, I never thought I was ever going to wrestle again.
01:29 That was it.
01:30 They said, "You will never wrestle again."
01:31 WWE cut ties with any kind of doctors and was like, "We're not going to check you anymore."
01:35 So I was kind of in limbo for five years.
01:37 And I never kind of hit rock bottom with it.
01:40 No pun intended for the wrestling fans in here, but I never like hit rock bottom with it.
01:44 I kept in a very positive mindset.
01:47 And so, you know, when I got the call from Tony, he was just like, "Let's fucking go.
01:51 Let's try this.
01:52 Let's go do it."
01:53 You know, he was like, he just seemed so positive and awesome.
01:56 And I was like, "Man, I want to kick some ass."
01:58 And so, yeah, I started training more, getting in the gym.
02:01 I was working out every single day.
02:02 I started watching AEW religiously every single day.
02:05 I was like, "This is so cool."
02:06 And I already wanted to be a part of it so bad ever since it started anyway.
02:09 But yeah, it's just been a crazy journey.
02:12 I never thought I'd be here.
02:13 I never thought I would be in Wembley Stadium in the biggest crowd in wrestling history.
02:17 I mean, it's just a dream come true.
02:19 And I'm so thankful.
02:20 And thank you, Tony.
02:21 Thank you. Thank you. Congratulations. You earned it champ.
02:23 Thank you. One year in the making.
