00:00 Last July, we met a business that had a K in our all-time favorite, Pancit.
00:07 Of course, your mom, Susan, was not the last one to cook Pancit.
00:13 But aside from the delicious taste of their Pancit,
00:15 others also leveled up in their business.
00:18 Fatima's family's Pancit, which was formerly home-based and for delivery only,
00:27 now has a store.
00:30 When we started our physical store,
00:35 our reach expanded.
00:38 We became more known.
00:40 We were watched nationwide.
00:42 Many people contacted us from different provinces,
00:46 not only in Laguna.
00:48 We also had more customers,
00:50 not only in Calamba.
00:54 Her mom, Virginia,'s OG Pancit
00:57 is not only available in her neighborhood.
01:00 Our last year's feature in GMA Para Paraan also helped.
01:07 That's where we started.
01:09 We had customers not only in Calamba,
01:12 but also in Santa Rosa, Binan, even Batangas.
01:16 We decided to expand in Batangas.
01:19 That branch in Batangas will cater Tanawan, Lipa, and Santo Tomas area.
01:25 Like always,
01:28 their Pancit and Crispy Palabok,
01:30 which was cooked by Virginia, is still their signature dish.
01:33 The products that we were known for,
01:36 when we were home-based,
01:38 like Crispy Palabok, Pancit Cake, Pancit Pizza,
01:42 we retained them.
01:43 Even though we have a physical store now,
01:45 that's our product focus until now.
01:47 We have in-n-out,
01:49 because we can't always have Pancit as our customer.
01:55 We should also offer something for their kids.
01:58 That's why we launched the rice bowls.
02:01 They also eat new gimmicks for their Pancit,
02:05 which has a terno, kutsinta, chicken, or lumpiang Shanghai.
02:09 Aside from Pancit Pizza, they also have Bilao Trio,
02:13 two Pancit of your choice, and spaghetti.
02:16 Having a place and a store is a big help to their business.
02:20 Since we built our store,
02:23 we got to know each other.
02:25 When we see a lot of people,
02:29 we're all happy,
02:32 we're a family,
02:33 because we're a lot of people who are a part of our store.
02:39 They're happy even though their father is no longer with them,
02:44 and they fulfilled their dream.
02:46 When I told him,
02:49 because he pictured us in the living room,
02:52 I told him, "You fulfilled your dream,
02:56 you want your son to do this."
03:00 But even though their business is still in decline,
03:04 they still face challenges.
03:06 As an owner, you really need to multitask,
03:10 especially when you're a startup.
03:12 You oversee the day-to-day
03:15 when a big brand opens in Manila.
03:19 Our sales were directly affected
03:22 because they're just nearby.
03:25 But Pancit didn't give up.
03:30 We need to recalibrate our strategies.
03:32 So we highlighted our focus products,
03:36 which are unique to us.
03:38 And one way to do that is to boost our presence in social media.
03:44 We did it because this year,
03:46 our sales are higher than last year.
03:49 Pancit says their income has increased.
03:54 When we were home-based,
03:56 our initial capital was only P5,000.
03:59 But we used P250 to build it.
04:06 Before, when we were home-based,
04:08 we only had P50,000 to P60,000 per month.
04:12 And that's gross.
04:14 So now, we're reaching P200,000 a month.
04:18 Moms and Pops,
04:21 it's a secret to mothers.
04:23 If you're going to start a business,
04:25 and you're the only family,
04:26 I'd like to tell you,
04:28 don't save on the ingredients.
04:33 Because if you save on the ingredients,
04:35 it will taste different.
04:37 I want us to be able to come back.
04:39 Pancita is now a stronghold of Ms. Virginia.
04:44 So it's time to taste it.
04:46 It's delicious.
04:49 The sauce is delicious.
04:50 This sauce will win.
04:53 Build.
04:57 It's so delicious.
05:01 It's so delicious.
05:02 It's so delicious.
05:06 Promise.
05:07 We're two thumbs up here.
05:09 Even if you start a small business at home,
05:13 as long as you have the right formula in the business,
05:16 you will definitely succeed and prosper.
