Bankman-Fried Denied Vegan Diet, Adderall in Brooklyn Jail

Sam Bankman-Fried is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn until his criminal trial begins in October for fraud and conspiracy related to the collapse of FTX. His lawyers expressed concerns over his living conditions at the jail, saying he is "subsisting on bread and water" and "sometimes peanut butter" as the jail cannot accommodate his vegan diet. Bankman-Fried has not received doses of his prescribed medication, Adderall for ADHD or Emsam patches for depression, since being remanded to custody 11 days ago, despite a judge ordering the jail to provide these medications. Bankman-Fried had his bail revoked for leaking private diary entries of his ex-girlfriend Caroline Ellison to the media.
