Transcript
00:00 We're protesting for the elderly and the disabled.
00:04 They can't get away from this.
00:07 They can already live in Normington but they can't move into Wakefield,
00:10 they can't go to Castleford.
00:12 And we've had a few in tears.
00:14 There's one lady, she comes with a guide dog.
00:17 She can't get on a bus.
00:19 There's other ladies who come on their mobile scooters.
00:23 They can't go.
00:25 So what do you do?
00:27 If this closes?
00:28 And all we ask for is can they give us a hub?
00:31 Which would be lovely, what do you say?
00:34 If we had a hub, the ideal.
00:37 They've got a hub at Osset, that's happening.
00:40 So, you know, why not Wakefield, why not Normington?
00:44 This little village is, you know, without a bank, we've nothing.
00:47 There was a bank down the road a few years ago
00:49 and everybody went from that bank to Harryfax here.
00:53 You know, so what do you do?
00:56 And, uh, take a nap.
