00:03 I love driving, and I love the country roads, not
00:19 the express highways.
00:20 And I want to explore the country,
00:22 so I just choose a direction.
00:24 And then I go to villages, tribals, and NGOs
00:27 who are working with art and craft.
00:29 And I buy things from them.
00:30 There is bark print of Indore site.
00:34 Then there is textiles from Maheshwar.
00:37 There's a guy in Ujjain who makes beautiful birds.
00:40 And there's a lot of bamboo work which
00:42 is happening in Malaghat area.
00:45 Towards Dindori and Patankar and all, you have corn paintings.
00:50 Then over here in Umariya district,
00:51 you have lovely artifacts, again, from paper mache.
00:57 I created a workshop outside, and I called this boy
01:02 and said, with my inputs, they're
01:04 making some beautiful stuff.

01:56 People do demand for things locally made.
02:14 Unfortunately, their beautiful work doesn't pay them enough.
02:17 They have to go to a bigger city to sell their products,
02:21 and it's not viable somehow.
02:23 So sometimes, once you tell them that you
02:25 can do something like this, you give them ideas,
02:29 and they can do it.
