00:00 On August 9, Heather is preparing to have a serious conversation with Phyllis.

00:04 Phyllis won't change her mind about turning down a deal.

00:07 Heather is concerned that putting all of her faith in the decision of a single judge

00:12 might be detrimental to her future.

00:15 She cautions Phyllis that in the event that things do not go as planned,

00:19 she may find herself in a great deal of difficulty

00:22 and be subjected to the worst possible penalty.

00:25 Heather really hopes that Phyllis is able to grasp the gravity of the situation.

00:30 Phyllis, on the other hand, is unwavering in her convictions and will not change her opinion.

00:36 She claims that she is aware of what is at risk

00:39 and that she is prepared to go before the court.

00:42 When she is standing in front of the judge,

00:44 she becomes quite emotional and even begins to cry.

00:48 She implores the judge to give her a second opportunity to put things in order

00:53 by doing community service and mending fences with her children.

00:57 In the meantime, Lucy has returned to Genoa City

01:00 and is providing support for Daniel as he deals with issues with his family.

01:05 They run across Mariah and Ariah at the park,

01:08 which opens the door for a conversation regarding the possibility of them becoming parents.

01:13 This causes Daniel to think about his own mother, Phyllis,

01:16 and wonder whether it's appropriate for her to be sentenced to prison.

01:20 Even if he is frustrated with her, he does not want her to be imprisoned.

01:24 Elsewhere, Chance helps Summer once again.

01:28 She is annoyed with Phyllis and wishes that this whole ordeal would come to an end.

01:32 Chance encourages Summer to consider making a clean break
