00:02 The week of August 21st to the 25th will bring some shockers
00:06 as Hope will leave Thomas stunned
00:08 when she says she tells him it's over.
00:11 Also, it looks like Hope and Liam will pump the brakes
00:13 on the divorce too, but does that mean they'll reunite?
00:17 Steffi and Finn will make some progress this week as well
00:19 when they profess their love for each other,
00:22 but does that mean Steffi will move back home?
00:24 Also, Eric and Ridge will have a misunderstanding,
00:27 so plenty is in store this week.
00:29 So let's get started.
00:31 On Monday, Liam makes an impassioned plea.
00:34 To Hope or to Steffi?
00:35 We'll have to see.
00:37 Rumor has it Liam will catch Steffi by surprise
00:39 and Liam will also put his heart on the line.
00:42 So we'll see if he makes another pitch to Steffi
00:44 to reunite with her.
00:46 If so, it doesn't look like it'll work out
00:48 since spoilers say Steffi and Finn profess their love
00:51 for each other this week.
00:52 Liam and Hope will also work together
00:54 for a shared goal this week.
00:56 So that sounds like they'll wait on the divorce
00:58 as they want to do what's best for their daughter Beth.
01:01 Liam also reminded Hope of the nightmare
01:04 they went through because of Thomas
01:05 and how Thomas kept Beth, their daughter, away from them.
01:09 We saw flashbacks from when Liam tried to get to Hope on time
01:12 flying to Catalina on a helicopter during a windstorm.
01:16 Kelly was sick, so Liam was delayed,
01:18 but he eventually got to the island.
01:21 But when he did, it was too late.
01:23 Dr. Buckingham's nefarious plan was in play.
01:27 And the doctor switched the babies.
01:29 Hope was led to believe her baby died at birth,
01:32 and Hope and Liam were crushed.
01:34 Another woman had come to the clinic that night
01:37 and had a stillborn baby.
01:39 Dr. Buckingham switched the babies
01:41 so that he could make money to keep his daughter Zoe
01:43 safe from loan sharks.
01:46 Buckingham ended up selling baby Beth
01:48 to Taylor, who thought everything was legal.
01:51 And then Steffi raised Beth as her own daughter, Phoebe,
01:53 not knowing the fraud that was going on.
01:56 Thomas found out about the secret
01:58 and became the enforcer of that secret.
02:01 Thomas wanted Hope, and he wanted
02:03 to break up Liam and Hope so he didn't
02:05 want them to know their baby was still alive.
02:07 And he felt Steffi raising Beth as Phoebe that the child
02:10 would be taken care of.
02:12 There's plenty more to the story,
02:14 but eventually Douglas, Thomas's son,
02:16 found out by overhearing Thomas's phone call
02:19 when Thomas said that baby Phoebe was actually baby Beth.
02:23 Douglas told his son Liam, and after an action-packed rooftop
02:26 showdown between Liam and Thomas,
02:29 Liam and Hope rejoiced knowing their daughter was still alive.
02:33 Lope, Liam, and Hope had never been stronger.
02:36 Now, though, that's not the case.
02:38 Hope has gone on to have an affair with Thomas,
02:41 and Liam just poured his heart out to Steffi,
02:43 confessing his love for her.
02:45 But Liam still loves Hope, too, and he'll
02:47 urge her not to be with Thomas because of what
02:50 Thomas did to them.
02:51 Liam said it was evil.
02:53 Thomas has made plenty of progress, though,
02:55 and many believe he's changed.
02:57 Thomas's obsession with Hope seems to be gone,
03:00 but he also loves her and wants to be with her.
03:03 Thomas has made plenty of progress,
03:05 but Liam and Brooke will never trust him.
03:07 Liam will encourage Hope to forget about Thomas,
03:10 and it looks like he'll get through to her.
03:12 Thomas and Hope have a connection, though,
03:14 and a strong friendship.
03:16 They also co-parent Douglas, Thomas's son.
03:19 And despite Thomas's misdeeds, he's come a long way.
03:21 And unlike Liam, Thomas only loves one woman, Hope.
03:26 Hope, it seems, will be influenced, though,
03:27 by Liam's words and RJ and Brooke's, too.
03:31 And Hope will decide to do what she
03:32 thinks is best for her family.
03:34 So stay tuned as we learn more this week.
03:37 Also Monday, Steffi demands answers.
03:40 Steffi will question Thomas about his relationship
03:43 with Hope, and she'll ask him what he'd
03:44 do if Hope went back to Liam.
03:47 Thomas, too, on Monday will keep a secret.
03:50 We'll have to see what that is, but it
03:51 could be about his night of passion with Hope.
03:54 Many don't know about that, including Liam,
03:56 but Brooke found out when she busted them,
03:58 and Brooke later told Ridge.
04:01 However, Thomas will be in for some bad news from Hope
04:03 very soon this week, so stay tuned.
04:06 And on Tuesday, Ridge questions Thomas about Hope,
04:09 so look for Thomas's grilling to continue.
04:12 Plenty of forces are against Thomas and Hope being together,
04:14 so sadly, this pairing could have
04:16 been doomed from the start.
04:18 We'll see if Thope, Thomas, and Hope get another chance,
04:21 though.
04:22 Also, RJ chooses an alliance on Tuesday,
04:25 and we know how RJ feels about Hope, Liam, and Thomas.
04:28 RJ wants Hope and Liam to fight for their marriage,
04:31 just like Brooke does.
04:33 But RJ, too, could become involved
04:35 in Eric and Ridge's situation.
04:36 It looks like there will be a bit
04:38 of a misunderstanding between Eric and Ridge,
04:40 so could RJ choose a side between his father
04:43 and grandfather, something to keep an eye on.
04:46 But back with Hope and Liam, they'll
04:48 make a unified decision on Tuesday,
04:49 so look for them to not file those divorce papers.
04:53 This doesn't necessarily mean Hope and Liam will reunite,
04:55 but they won't be divorcing, at least not yet.
04:58 And Brooke and RJ will see that as progress.
05:01 Hope and Liam want to do what's best for Beth
05:03 by not breaking her parents up, so stay tuned.
05:06 And on Wednesday, Thomas makes a selfless act.
05:09 Spoilers told us Hope's choice changes things
05:12 for multiple people, and that'll certainly
05:14 be the case when Hope leaves Thomas.
05:17 It looks like their fledgling romance is over before it began.
05:21 Thomas will create a romantic setting back at his place,
05:24 and when Hope arrives, Thomas will kiss her,
05:26 but Hope will pull away.
05:28 Thomas will sense something is wrong,
05:30 and Hope will open up about how she feels
05:32 and how Liam reminded her of her past with Thomas.
05:35 Thomas will think Liam has gotten into her head.
05:38 Rumor has it Thomas will blame Liam for what Hope decided.
05:41 This could become a big plot point
05:43 and renew the rivalry in a big way between Thomas and Liam,
05:47 especially if Thomas finds out that Liam is
05:49 in love with Stephanie, and Thomas
05:50 is able to somehow share proof of that information with Hope.
05:54 But for now, Thomas will understand,
05:56 and he'll respect Hope's choice.
05:58 And Thomas will feel there's only one thing to do--
06:00 set her free.
06:02 Thomas will back off to do what's best for Hope,
06:04 and he'll tell her, if the best thing for you
06:06 is to be with your family, you should do that.
06:09 Hope is leaving Thomas, but does she
06:11 want to reunite with her husband, Liam?
06:13 They're not divorcing, at least not yet,
06:15 so we'll see if there's any hope for Lope.
06:18 But there's a problem.
06:19 Liam is in love with Stephanie, and we've
06:21 seen the past week how Liam has confessed his feelings to her,
06:25 telling her if he had another chance,
06:26 he'd never let her go.
06:28 Liam also told Stephanie he had his Hope goggles on,
06:31 implying that he wasn't able to see Stephanie as the woman he
06:34 loves until now.
06:36 Hope has no idea of the things Liam has said to Stephanie,
06:39 so despite doing what she feels is best for the family,
06:42 Hope seems to be Liam's second choice.
06:45 Hope's doing what's best for her family,
06:47 but what's best for Hope?
06:49 Thomas seems to want what's best for Hope,
06:51 but he might not be an option because of all
06:53 the forces against them.
06:55 We'll have to see if they can overcome all of that.
06:58 Thomas will be heartbroken, though,
06:59 when Hope walks out the door.

07:07 Stephanie rebuffed Liam, so Liam may go back to Hope
07:10 while thinking about Stephanie.
07:12 So there's plenty of intriguing scenarios

07:15 Stephanie is stunned by Liam's admission on Wednesday, too,
07:18 but we know Liam already told Stephanie
07:20 he loves her, that he's in love with her and always will be.
07:24 Liam might make another pitch to win Stephanie over.
07:27 Hidden feelings are coming to light.
07:30 And how will Stephanie feel about this?
07:32 She seems haunted by Liam's kisses
07:34 and perhaps not divulging that truth to Finn.
07:37 So we'll see where all of this leads.
07:40 And on Thursday, Eric and Ridge have a misunderstanding.
07:43 We know Eric wants to work on a collaboration with Ridge,
07:46 but they could face some disagreement.
07:48 And Eric even told Ridge not to patronize him.
07:51 So what could be brewing here?
07:53 Eric wants to do a legacy collection,
07:54 and Eric and Ridge have different styles,
07:56 so maybe some conflict is ahead.
07:59 There could also be some mystery to this story, too,
08:02 so we'll see.
08:03 One idea suggests Eric could have a secret illness
08:06 that he's keeping from his family,
08:07 and that's why he wants to preserve
08:09 his legacy with a new collaborative fashion line.
08:12 Keep in mind, though, this is only speculation,
08:14 but we'll see where this story goes.
08:17 Also Thursday, Finn sees Stephanie for the first time
08:19 since Kelly's rescue.
08:21 This could be an inaccurate teaser,
08:23 so we'll see what this means.
08:25 Finn has already seen Stephanie a few times
08:27 since the beach incident with Kelly and Sheila,
08:29 and Finn has pleaded with Stephanie to return home.
08:33 Stephanie moved out with the kids
08:34 because she's afraid Sheila could be lurking.
08:37 But maybe this spoiler is talking about Finn
08:39 seeing Sheila for the first time since the beach.
08:41 We'll have to see.
08:43 Eventually, Finn will encounter Sheila again, so stay tuned.
08:46 And feature spoilers say Deacon and Sheila panic
08:49 when unexpected visitors arrive.
08:51 This should be a lot of fun.
08:52 But who will arrive?
08:54 Will it be Bill and Ridge?
08:56 They both know about Deacon's relationship with Sheila,
08:58 so will they pay him a visit, maybe to give him a warning?

09:03 Brooke and Hope, though, could also show up unexpectedly
09:05 to Deacon's place, and I can see Deacon
09:07 scrambling to hide Sheila.
09:10 Rumor has it, too, Deacon and Sheila
09:11 will be sharing a hot moment of passion
09:14 when the visitors arrive.
09:15 So it looks like they'll have to act fast,
09:17 and Sheila will have to hide.
09:19 Hope once visited her father, Deacon, before,
09:22 and Sheila was there in disguise.
09:24 That was a tense encounter, so we'll see
09:26 if there are any more this week.
09:28 But back with Finn and Stephanie,
09:29 it looks like Finn will entreat Stephanie
09:31 to once again come home.
09:33 Finn is devastated over Stephanie moving out.
09:36 His family is his priority, so this
09:38 has been very difficult for him.
09:40 Finn understands why Stephanie is away,
09:42 but despite his assurances that he'll stay away from Sheila,
09:46 Stephanie will point out how she and Finn
09:48 have different perspectives when it comes to Sheila.
09:51 Finn isn't scared of Sheila the way Stephanie is,
09:54 and that is a big difference.
09:56 Stephanie will remind Finn of that horrible night in the alley
09:59 and how Stephanie is haunted by that.
10:02 It looks like Finn will understand
10:03 the devastating impact all of this has had on Stephanie
10:06 and why she can't take any chances when
10:08 it comes to Sheila.
10:10 On Friday, though, Stephanie and Finn profess their love,
10:13 so we'll see if they make progress as far as Stephanie
10:15 moving back in.

10:19 could be fast approaching, though,
10:20 so Stephanie might decide time away is best for her.
10:24 Future spoilers also say Stephanie
10:26 makes a difficult decision, so she could leave for Paris
10:29 maybe with the kids temporarily.
10:32 Finn being home alone, too, could open the door
10:34 for more Sheila chaos, so we'll see.
10:37 It could also set the stage for Finn
10:38 to interact more with other characters,
10:40 like possibly Hope and Taylor.
10:43 Hope and Finn could have plenty to discuss
10:45 about Liam and Stephanie, so we'll see if they
10:47 share any scenes together.
10:49 With Taylor and Finn, we'll see how things progress,
10:52 but down the road, a steamy affair with Taylor and Finn
10:55 could really spice things up.
10:57 And while Stephanie's gone, maybe Finn will learn
10:59 about Stephanie's kisses with Liam,
11:01 and he could turn to someone, maybe Taylor or Hope.
11:04 We'll see.
11:04 Plenty of opportunity for great drama.
11:07 And also on Friday, Eric protects his legacy
11:09 and demands respect.
11:11 Rumor has it Eric takes a stand, so look for a possible feud
11:15 to start between Eric and Ridge.
11:17 This is unusual, as both father and son are very close,
11:20 but in the past, Eric and Ridge have clashed before.
11:24 Ridge once had an affair with Quinn, Eric's wife,
11:27 and Eric ended up disowning Ridge.
11:29 That was temporary, and this doesn't
11:31 look like it will be that serious,
11:33 but it's also a story with plenty of intrigue.
11:35 Looks like Eric and RJ will have a serious talk this week,
11:38 too, so we'll see if that's about Hope, Liam, and Thomas,
11:41 or about Eric and Ridge.
11:43 Future spoilers also say Eric confides in RJ,
11:46 so could RJ end up in the middle in this feud
11:48 between his father and grandfather?
11:51 Eric could also confide a secret to RJ, hopefully not
11:55 an illness, but we'll have to see.
