00:22 Voters will have to choose among eight candidates aspiring to the presidency of Ecuador, among
00:26 which are Luisa González of the Citizen Revolution Movement, former Vice President Otto Salazar
00:31 Hohner of the Atuemos Alliance, Jan Topic of the Coalition for a Country Without Fear,
00:37 and Daniel Noboa of National Democratic Action.
00:40 The election day will be extended until 5 p.m. local time, when the polling centers
00:44 close and a counting of voters begins.
