00:00 Hi, I'm Charlie Masters and here are your Suffolk News headlines.
00:04 Immense frustration has been expressed after a Town Centre residents parking project has hit another setback after a number of delays over the years.
00:11 Big changes were planned for the parking zone covering much of Beresford Evans Town Centre, including the creation of 30 new parking spaces.
00:19 However, due to inaccuracies in the legal documentation, Suffolk Highways has announced a traffic regulation order will need to be re-advertised,
00:27 causing further delays to the plans that have been in the pipeline for almost a decade.
00:31 Haverhill singer/songwriter Iona Griffey's long-awaited debut album, Lovers and Strangers, comes out today.
00:37 Iona has previously released singles from the album, including Colorblind, Sweet Tooth and Candy,
00:42 which have been played live on BBC Radio, as well as numerous stations worldwide.
00:47 Earlier this year she enjoyed a live acoustic session on BBC Radio Suffolk, which she described as a great experience,
00:53 allowing to talk about her music and play live on air.
00:56 And our top story of the week.
00:58 A queue swarmed on Tuesday as Folk Cafe reopened its doors.
01:02 The popular cafe in Fawnham St Martin, near Beresford Evans, founded by Ali Barker in 2018, has now trebled in size.
01:09 The expansion, which means the cafe has been closed for the past month, has also created 10 jobs, with staff numbers rising from 22 to 32.
01:18 That's everything for now. Do check the Suffolk News website for more breaking news.
