Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel said he was happy with how the two days of joint practices went with the Minnesota Vikings on Wednesday and Thursday.

00:00 both days, what did you think about?
00:02 >> I mean, we had a few that were productive, I think, later on in the red
00:06 zone, but it certainly was tough sledding.
00:09 And I think it was good work, and you're seeing different fronts and
00:14 you're seeing some different things and different pressures.
00:17 Run pressure versus pressure from the edge or
00:23 whatever it may be that we're gonna have to go back and
00:25 we'll see these different things throughout the season.
00:27 So really good work.
00:29 >> Same story on the other side of the ball, your sense too?
00:31 >> Yeah, I mean, I don't know how much we pressured.
00:35 But again, I mean, we know that there is a problem with being able to stop the run,
00:40 whatever scheme it may be, it's gonna change week to week.
00:44 So certainly something that's been a strength of ours, but
00:48 I think in these practices, it's just not letting it go and not relaxing,
00:54 making sure when we're down sound, we're setting the edge and building the ball.
00:59 >> What's the pressure, what's the things that like that you saw the last two days?
01:04 >> Well, today I thought there was an energy level, I think, that we came out.
01:07 I thought we tried to celebrate the plays that we had in the red zone offensively,
01:11 which is important, I mean, it's tough to score in this league.
01:15 And we've tried to really do a good job in the red zone.
01:20 We gotta get down there more, I've said that quite often.
01:23 But I think that there was some execution.
01:27 I felt like we didn't dwell on negative plays.
01:30 If they had a good play, we'd line back up and try to play again.
01:35 I felt we were better on third down than we were today in the fourth,
01:39 which is really encouraging.
01:42 >> Would that unsportsmanlike penalty against them have taken away the touchdown,
01:46 or is it post play?
01:47 >> The interception?
01:50 >> Yeah, when he threw it towards your back.
01:52 >> So that would be a dead ball foul, no time left on the clock.
01:56 Had there been time left on the clock, I guess they could do something, but
01:59 it was a dead ball foul.
02:01 There was no time left.
02:02 >> So game over.
02:03 >> What was the call in the runoff?
02:04 How much of a wicked one?
02:06 >> Well, again, we're clocking the ball and we can't flinch.
02:09 So that goes down as a false start.
02:12 10 second runoff, we run a timeout.
02:15 It's a great learning experience.
02:19 It's something that we try to continue to cover as things fall to minute,
02:23 as things come up.
02:24 How critical it is that we're waiting there for the snap.
02:28 Knowing that we're gonna move, we're gonna try to move inside and
02:32 try to force that to happen with a 10 second runoff.
02:35 So, that's what we do.
