00:00 This is one of Nolil's holidays to the mainland where she went to Adelaide in 1994 for the Australian Championship for bowls.
00:09 On the way home a man opened the overhead locker and a huge round silver tray that my cousin Chris Dudman had won at the Australian Men's Singles fell down from the locker and hit my head.
00:21 It bled everywhere and they wouldn't let me off the plane until everyone else got off. Then they took me to the first aid station in the airport and stopped the bleeding and patched me up and told me to go to the LGH as soon as we got back.
00:34 The bleeding started again when we landed in Launceston and there was blood everywhere, all over my state blazer.
00:40 Philip picked me up and we were supposed to go to my sister's Lil for lunch but had to go to the hospital first.
00:46 We were late for lunch and Lil wasn't happy as she had cooked everything to perfection for an exact time when we were supposed to be there.
00:54 Now you know why I'm a bit off, I got hit on the head with a silver tray.
00:58 Bye.
