00:59 He considered himself putting his targets on alert

01:02 for the crimes they committed.

01:05 - No, but I remember him well.

01:07 He had the FBI on alert for years.

01:09 - Is this the same guy who blew up an oil tanker?

01:12 - Yeah, talk about Carmageddon.

01:14 He shut down the 405 freeway for a week.

01:16 - Any casualties in this recent fire?

01:19 - The building is under renovation,

01:21 and the foreman, Michael Duncan, was found dead inside.

01:24 - LAPD believes that he actually caught the arsonist

01:27 in the act and was then assaulted

01:30 and left for dead at the scene.

01:31 - That's one thing to burn down a building.

01:33 It is another to take a life.

01:35 - If I remember, Perez's MO focused on companies

01:38 that committed environmental crimes.

01:40 Why would he attack the defense contractor?

01:43 - It's unclear.

01:44 The company has multiple highly classified

01:46 naval projects in development on all four of its campuses.

01:50 - If there's a vendetta against this company,

01:52 we need to find out what it is.

01:53 We need to stop this arsonist before he attacks
