00:40 For the longest time, for you to become a candidate, you have to go to Manila on your own,

00:48 pass your application and wait if you get in.

00:51 So it's hard for somebody who has no resources but has potential.

00:57 And this time, we are reaching out to different places of the Philippines.

01:06 Miss Universe Philippines was also cried for by National Director, Shamsay Supsupli

01:13 and National Search Consultant, Mags Que.

01:17 Next, Miss Universe Organization was cried for the next elimination of Miss Universe Indonesia

01:24 and Miss Universe Malaysia because of the complaint of sexual harassment of some of the candidates.

01:32 Our main goal is to be a safe space for women.

01:38 And we try to really protect the girls.

01:42 All we have to do is just to again, as I've said, empower one another.

01:47 And we have no experience in that so far.

01:50 It's good.

01:52 Meanwhile, Miss Universe Philippines 2023 and Sparkle Star Michelle D

02:00 are preparing for the pageant this November 18 that will be held in El Salvador.

02:05 She works so hard.

02:07 Sometimes I would tell her, "Maybe take a rest."

02:11 But she's the type who just goes for it.

02:14 And I believe that we have a good chance this year.
