00:00 I've been looking for her for so long.
00:03 She's been hiding under his vacant house.
00:06 I have just rescued a puppy,
00:10 and I thought there has to be a mom somewhere.
00:13 Every day I was going out there,
00:19 I would even take my senior dog with me,
00:22 and he would sniff.
00:23 So one day I was driving,
00:26 and my dog started sniffing and getting excited,
00:29 and I sneak her.
00:31 As soon as I like pulled forward, she took off.
00:35 I would always lay out a lot of food,
00:38 but she was very, very scared.
00:41 About 20 days after,
00:44 another local rescuer come out
00:46 and helped me set up the trap.
00:49 The moment that she went in that trap,
00:52 it was like, oh my God, it was just such a relief.
00:55 Oh my goodness, you were so fucking brave, mom.
00:58 Eat your chicken, baby.
01:00 I wanted to get the puppies and put them back with her,
01:02 but I had no placement for the puppies at first.
01:04 So we sent them with a rescue.
01:07 When we got Winter, they haven't talked to the puppies out.
01:10 So we FaceTimed with one of her puppies.
01:13 At the beginning, she's kind of iffy about people,
01:18 but when we started spending more and more time with her,
01:23 she got very used to always being around me and my family.
01:27 She feels the love and that's all that she needed.
01:30 It was love.
01:31 She acts like such a big baby.
01:34 After three weeks, I first introduced her to the dog
01:37 and then to the cat.
01:39 Coco, my dog, he was obsessed with Winter.
01:44 They're like a couple.
01:46 And then Maggie, the cat, she'll come in between them.
01:49 Like, hey, that's my man.
01:51 So Winter was very scared of that at first,
01:53 but she was very loving.
01:56 She never showed signs of aggression.
01:58 Now they will lay together.
02:00 Winter just loved everybody.
02:02 Good girl.
02:05 I did have my moments where I was like,
02:07 I want to adopt her, but it's not fair for her.
02:11 I don't have a backyard.
02:13 She needs a lot of space to run.
02:16 And at the end, we found Winter the perfect home.
02:20 Now she has a great family.
02:24 They have land, they have a dog.
02:26 They're very, very kind, very loving.
02:30 Good girl.
02:31 She loves Jackson.
02:35 Go Winter.
02:36 It's hard.
02:38 It was not the same without her here,
02:42 but we know she's happy.
02:44 She got everything that we actually wanted for her.
