00:00 The NFL season is here, well kind of, the preseason is here.
00:04 Pre here.
00:04 Yeah.
00:05 Pre baking.
00:05 Yeah, we're pre excited for the NFL.
00:08 There you go.
00:09 There's already been some notable injuries,
00:11 some really exciting plays, but what is your storyline number
00:14 one for the preseason games?
00:17 I'm interested in who's going to quarterback
00:19 the commanders this year.
00:20 Oh, yeah.
00:21 And after they go into camp, it's Sam Howell,
00:24 it's Jacoby Brissett.
00:25 And after week one, we're like, we don't know anything.
00:28 Because they had a very similar game.
00:30 Their stat lines are almost exactly the same.
00:32 Jacoby Brissett rushes for touchdown,
00:34 muscle throws an interception.
00:35 So if you're Ron Rivera, you're still like,
00:37 well, I've got to see more.
00:38 And nobody's winning the job.
00:41 Actually, nobody's lost it either.
00:42 So they're still kind of in a two-man race.
00:45 So it's going to be fascinating to see who
00:46 takes the snaps in week one.
00:47 Yeah.
00:49 Washington needs a quarterback.
00:51 Repeat and rinse.
00:52 We've said this for about three years, right?
00:54 Going back to Ryan Fitzpatrick, they had for a while,
00:57 and then they tried Carson Wentz last year.
00:59 And it's Tyler Heineke had a run.
01:01 It's been a disaster.
01:03 It's been the reason there's been the NFC East has kind
01:05 of juggled who wins, but the commanders have been
01:08 at the bottom.
01:09 And we're talking about why exactly.
01:11 And with a new owner, and a new rebrand, and everything else,
01:13 you just need that one face of the franchise to--
01:16 I would think either one of them are going to be the star,
01:18 but somebody needs to be the guy.
01:20 Yeah, the starter.
01:21 Yeah, the starter.
01:22 Maybe not the star, but we need the starter.
