00:00 Meanwhile, there are more cases of online sexual abuse and exploitation of youth based on the study of the Anti-Money Laundering Council.
00:12 Most of the parishioners are children victims of online sexual abuse.
00:18 Here is my first news.
00:24 The long-term surveillance of the Women and Children's Protection Center Visayas finally paid off to the live-ins Sina Alias Nelson and Alias Consuelo.
00:31 They were arrested in Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City, for selling sensitive images and videos of their four minor children.
00:39 The victims were rescued, including the two-year-old girl.
00:44 But the fight for the increasing number of cases of online sexual abuse of Filipino children, most of whom are from abroad, continues, according to the study of the Anti-Money Laundering Council.
00:54 The suspected transactions will reach almost Php 200,000 from July 2020 to December 2022.
01:01 That amount is more than Php 1.5 billion.
01:05 The amount of foreign remittances related to online sexual abuse of youth will reach more than Php 700 million.
01:12 The police believe that the problem of access to internet and online payments is causing problems.
01:18 More than half of the remittances from the country are being sent to Cavite.
01:23 The next largest remittances are from Cebu, Pampanga, Negros Occidental and Caloocan.
01:28 The Cavite Capitol is now studying if these are just transactions or if the same act of child pornography is being committed in the province.
01:36 The joint command conference of the NBI, PNP-CIDG and Anti-Cybercrime Group will also call for a meeting.
01:43 The PNP has to create a chart on how the transactions flow and the geolocations of where the transactions occur so that we can put a stop to it.
01:52 But I assure you that give me eight weeks and we will put a stop to everything.
01:57 Sex trafficking is a Php 1 billion industry.
02:00 That's why some parents are making their own children sell their children.
02:04 The PNP admitted that their battle is big and complicated.
02:09 Of course, our tools and technical capability also need to catch up.
02:13 When they entered the dark web, we had a hard time catching them or finding them.
02:19 But more than the accumulation of remittances from the transactions,
02:23 the deep root of the problem and the parents of the victims also need to be cut.
02:28 Poverty. Because money is easier.
02:34 As the parents said, they can't control their children.
02:39 (Laughter)
02:41 (Music)
