00:07 Yes, I'm Paul Chichester-Duncan. I've been with the company almost 23 years.

00:11 I started up at Birmingham Central Garage, moved to the Isle of Man Garage and now currently at Tangled Spring Garage.

00:16 Hi, I'm Chas Smith. I've been here just over 16 years.

00:21 I work at Wolverhampton Park Lane Garage and my favourite road is the number 3.

00:27 My name is Peter Lishclop. I work at Wolverhampton Garage, which I've worked at for 36 years.

00:35 And my favourite route is Wolverhampton to Walsall, 529.

00:40 I'm Nathan. I'm based at the Acott Screen Bus Garage.

00:45 I've been working for National Express as a driver for 4 years now and my favourite route is the 11 Outer Circle.

00:59 The best thing about being a bus driver is that satisfaction of getting in pastures from A to B as safely as possible.

01:04 It's a joy when that full load gets off your bus and says thank you.

01:08 The best thing about being a bus driver is that you get to meet so many new people every day.

01:13 No day is the same, especially when I drive the 11 on most days and you get to see so many different sights around the city.

01:23 So we go around the Outer Circle, which is 27 miles, and there's so many different parts of the city that you get to see.

01:31 You get to know certain people that you drive, you know, you meet every day and become a friend.

01:37 It's like a friendly kind of thing, you know. You do actually get up in the morning and sometimes you can't wait to get to work.

01:48 So it's great that after 4 years of working for National Express that I'm being recognised for my hard work.

01:55 And also it's an honour to stand out from other drivers.

02:02 I feel really proud of being recognised for being a master driver.

02:11 Yeah, it's great to be proud to be a bus driver. It's a massive responsibility.

02:16 And you're not just a bus driver, at the end of the day you're a lot more than that.
