PAS proposes Kedah and Terengganu MBs retained, change of Kelantan, says Takiyuddin

PAS has proposed that the caretaker mentris besar of Kedah and Terengganu be retained while hinting the removal of caretaker Kelantan Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob, according to PAS secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan in a live video announcement on Friday (Aug 11).

00:00 Referring to the decision of the Central PAS Day Council,
00:07 held on August 10, 2023,
00:12 in Rusila, Terengganu,
00:14 which was managed by President PAS,
00:17 the Honorable Tan Sri Dato Sri Tuan Guru Haji Abdul Hadi Awang,
00:21 PAS thus proposed the introduction of the leadership
00:27 of the state government under the PAS administration
00:31 and the National Union,
00:33 namely for the state of Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah,
00:38 as follows.
00:39 A. Maintain the Minister of State for Terengganu and Kedah
00:45 is subject to the mandate of the people
00:49 and pardon the favor of the Honorable Tuan Ku Sultan
00:54 of both states.
00:56 And B. Change the combination of the current Prime Minister
01:00 and the current Prime Minister for the state of Kelantan
01:04 by presenting a new leadership combination,
01:09 namely a religious figure and a technocrat figure
01:15 subject to the mandate of the people
01:18 and pardon the favor of the Honorable Tuan Ku Sultan of Kelantan.
01:25 For the combination of the position of the Prime Minister
01:29 and the position of the Prime Minister of Kelantan
01:32 which will be proposed after the election of the people of the state,
01:38 it is not named.
01:40 For respecting the mandate of the people
01:44 and also for respecting the prerogative power
01:50 or absolute power of the Honorable Sultan of Kelantan
01:56 in the matter of appointing the Prime Minister of Kelantan
