00:02 And let's close it out here with the craziest of them all.
00:05 Boy, the co-CEO of Underdog really went off talking about
00:09 all these things with Daily Fantasy and sports betting.
00:13 The state of New York has put their foot down.
00:17 They say prop style fantasy betting, excuse me,
00:20 prop style Daily Fantasy is betting.
00:24 And this is not gonna speak well to just the Daily Fantasy
00:27 providers like Underdog and some others.
00:30 They just wanna continue to live in the space, Pat.
00:33 But boy, it sure seems like with money driving this,
00:38 that at least the states are like, hey, look,
00:40 if we are not being able to cash in on you, we're gonna find a way out.
00:44 [LAUGH] That's the way I'm reading into this.
00:46 >> It's an interesting story.
00:49 It's a developing story.
00:50 We're tracking it very closely at Legal Sports Reports starting two weeks ago
00:55 with a follow up on the Wall Street Journal story about the kind of industry and
01:01 how they're going into younger areas and
01:05 states that don't have sports betting yet because their product does resemble
01:09 sports betting over under prop picks of games, you can parlay it.
01:15 It's pretty crazy.
01:16 And then last week, we learned that Wyoming
01:20 regulators had sent a seasoned assist to stop operating.
01:23 Maine also is looking into it to say, hey, what is this?
01:27 And is this really Daily Fantasy or is it sports betting?
01:31 Like you said, New York's cracking down on it.
01:34 Michigan might change their DFS language at the legislative level.
01:39 Massachusetts is looking into it.
01:41 I know Kansas is looking into it now.
01:45 It's interesting and their argument is we're just innovating on the laws that
01:50 FanDuel and DraftKings wrote, which were pretty ambiguous,
01:54 that could include this innovative product.
01:57 Other people, they view it differently.
02:00 So this is gonna be something to watch over the next couple of months.
02:03 And if this product is sustainable in an industry that is so closely regulated.
