Active Yaw Control, Four Drive Modes, 103 Hp, CVT Transmission, New Mitsubishi Xforce SUV 2024

Mitsubishi Xforce Introduced as Compact SUV
The model is equipped with a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter engine, paired exclusively with a CVT transmission.

Mitsubishi has launched the all-new Xforce, an internal combustion engine-powered compact SUV that will be produced in Indonesia. The production model stays close to the 2022 Mitsubishi XFC Concept in terms of exterior and interior design, although its features are somewhat softened. Besides the ASEAN region, which is the main focus of the model, Mitsubishi plans to offer the model in South Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa.

We were already familiar with the exterior design of the Mitsubishi Xforce from the official preview event held on July 31, but now we can see the interior as well as detailed specifications. Overall, the SUV looks modern and muscular thanks to the sculpted bodywork, the shape of the grille, and the aggressive LED lighting units at both ends.

Under the hood is a non-electric, naturally aspirated 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine producing 103 hp (77 kW / 105 PS) and 141 Nm (104 lb-ft) of torque, just like the Mitsubishi Xpander. Power is transmitted only to the front axle via a CVT gearbox. Although 2WD is an offering, four driving modes (Normal, Wet, Gravel and Mud) along with the Active Yaw Control (AYC) system and generous 8.7 inches (222 mm) of ground clearance allow for rough terrain driving. and overcome slippery surfaces and flooded roads.

Production of the SUV will take place at Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha plant in Indonesia, which will be the first market to receive it before other ASEAN, South Asian, Latin American, Middle Eastern and African countries.
