00:00 Lawyers representing Lizzo claim that they are reviewing six new complaints about the
00:04 "Good As Hell" singer.
00:05 Social media has poured in on their thoughts on the situation, with many more than unhappy.
00:14 According to the attorneys working with Lizzo, more complaints have poured in.
00:17 These new complaints come from people who toured with the 35-year-old singer, as well
00:21 as some of the team who worked with her on Amazon Prime's show, Lizzo's Watch Out For
00:25 the Big Girls.
00:26 It's only wanted reporting with the details.
00:28 According to Ron Zimbrano and his firm, which focuses on employment law, the team is vetting
00:33 these new allegations from at least six people who say they toured with Lizzo.
00:37 The lawyer went on to say these are based on a "sexually charged environment and failure
00:41 to pay employees."
00:43 Now upon reviewing the claims, Zimbrano stated that some of the claims may be actionable,
00:47 but others may not.
00:48 Representatives for Lizzo have denied to comment on the situation.
00:51 The lawsuit was first reported by NBC and filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court
00:55 on behalf of Ariana Davis, Noel Rodriguez, and Krystal Williams.
00:59 The situation has caused an outpour of comments from fans and users online alike.
01:03 Lizzo recently addressed the situation on social media, calling the allegations "sensationalized
01:08 stories" that were "false" and "unbelievable."
01:12 The suit also alleges that even Lizzo's attorney is calling the whole thing "outrageous."
01:17 The suit alleges that Lizzo, who is known for promoting body positivity and celebrating
01:21 her physique, allegedly pressured one dancer to touch a nude performer at a strip club.
01:26 In addition, the singer is accused of calling attention to one dancer's weight and fired
01:30 her in front of other performers after she recorded a meeting in order to take notes
01:34 on rehearsal feedback.
01:35 The lawsuit also accuses Lizzo of calling out the dancer's weight after an appearance
01:39 at the South by Southwest music festival.
01:41 According to Rob Zimbrano, Lizzo allegedly said it was "normal" for them to "get
01:46 fired when they get fat."
01:47 Lizzo's dance captain has refuted any of the claims against her in the lawsuit as well.
01:51 The captain was allegedly berating the team at times with the singer and forcefully evangelizing
01:56 the dancers.
01:57 Made in America Jay-Z's festival has also been canceled as of late.
02:01 The singer was set to headline alongside SZA and more in Philadelphia, but there's been
02:05 no official reason as to why the postponement/cancellation.
