3 Million Dollars, 1817 Hp, 12 Units to be Produced, New Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Roadster 2024
Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Roadster, 1.817 HP, Introduced with a Price of 3 Million Dollars.
12 bespoke models will be produced and each has already been sold.
Hennessey promised a debut on the Venom F5 during Monterey Car Week on August 18.
As expected, Hennessey outfitted its open-roof hypercar with the same track-focused aerodynamic upgrades we saw at the launch of the F5 Revolution hardtop back in January.
If you are familiar with the F5 Revolution, you will not encounter any visual surprises in the Revolution Roadster. It gets newer fascias with larger splitters and diffusers, a large old wing at the rear and diver planes at the corners of the front clip. And yes, this car has a roof scoop for the engine despite its removable roof. It is attached to the bonnet and gently overlaps the cockpit when the one-piece roof is out.
The roof of the F5 Revolution Roadster is made of rigid carbon fiber composite and the interior is covered with Alcantara. Hennessey says it's secured in a fixed position with high-strength pegs and weighs just 18 pounds for easy removal. Beyond that, the Texas company explains that the Roadster has been "extensively redesigned from its coupe sibling," but the exact changes aren't exhaustive.
The twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V8 engine is what it used to be, and there's nothing wrong with that. Developing 1,817 horsepower, the Venom F5 lives in rare air with a top speed that can exceed 300 mph. An official top speed test has yet to take place, but with the Revolution's added aero components, it's unknown whether this track-focused version - in coupe or convertible trim - will achieve such speeds.
Hennessey will only produce 12 F5 Revolution Roadsters at a cost of $3 million each, and it's already sold out. However, we can confirm that each F5 Revolution Roadster will be unique with different color and trim combinations. The car seen here is the first of five Bare Carbon models featuring light carbon fiber with yellow trim.
