00:04 An entire house plummets into a river,
00:07 crumbling into pieces as it hits the water.
00:10 This incredible scene took place in Juneau, Alaska,
00:13 along the Mendenhall River.
00:15 It started with trees that were behind the home
00:18 falling into the water.
00:20 The river flooded because of a major release
00:22 from Suicide Basin.
00:24 It's a side basin of the Mendenhall Glacier
00:27 above Juneau that stretches 13.6 miles,
00:31 about the distance of a half marathon.
00:34 Thanks to climate change, the glacier has been melting,
00:37 causing massive amounts of water to travel into the lake
00:40 that's connected to the river.

00:44 Time-lapse video shows the trees going down one by one
00:48 as the land around the river disintegrated.
