00:00 Alright folks, speaking of travel,
00:01 let's take a look at the travel
00:03 forecast for tomorrow across the
00:05 lower 48 whether you're traveling
00:06 by land or air and we'll see if
00:08 you can have any delays expected.
00:10 Well, Seattle, the Pacific Northwest,
00:12 some showers up there.
00:13 The most of the rest of the Northwest
00:15 is looking good a little bit on
00:17 the warm side for sure now.
00:19 No real delays expected across
00:20 California and into the desert,
00:21 but it will be hot,
00:23 but there'll be some cloudiness.
00:24 Not as hot as it's been.
00:26 How about Albuquerque,
00:27 New Mexico?
00:27 There'll be some thunderstorms,
00:28 but no delays possible and also a big
00:30 weather system moving through our
00:32 nation's midsection delays are
00:33 possible in Omaha and Kansas City,
00:35 especially early in the day,
00:36 and then those storms are going to
00:38 roll to the South and East in the
00:40 afternoon places like Little Rock,
00:42 Arkansas, Memphis, Tennessee.
00:43 That's going to be an area where
00:45 you can expect to see travel delays
00:47 tomorrow and especially tomorrow
00:48 afternoon evening.
00:49 How about Nashville?
00:50 Major delays likely in the afternoon
00:51 with wind and flooding downpours.
00:53 Pop up thunderstorms could impede
00:54 your travel meantime from Atlanta
00:56 down into Florida and the heat is
00:58 on it's going to be hot and humid.
01:00 Now, meantime,
01:01 in the lower Great Lakes and the Ohio Valley,
01:03 there'll be a few thunderstorms out there,
01:05 but the heavy stuff should stay to
01:07 your South and West as far as severe.
01:09 Now looking at the Northeast,
01:10 there'll be some rain shower
01:11 activity perhaps in the interior.
01:13 Not a whole lot going on here, folks.
01:15 It's a pretty good travel day in the
01:17 Northeast tomorrow and looking up
01:18 and down the I-95 corridor cities.
01:20 The future radar shows there could
01:22 be a stray shower or thunderstorm,
01:23 but for the most part,
01:24 it looks like a pretty nice day for
01:26 the rest of the week across the
01:28 Northeastern corridor,
01:29 which is good news for the airports.
01:31 We've got the AccuWeather US
01:32 flight cancellation forecast for
01:33 the rest of the week into the weekend.
01:36 Now these numbers are manageable
01:38 in the hundreds.
01:39 We know it could be worse.
01:40 We had a severe weather outbreak
01:42 recently where we had 1300
01:43 flights canceled in one day.
01:45 So yes, it could be worse.
