Indian-origin Vaibhav Taneja is Tesla's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). On August 7, Tesla announced that Taneja will be the new CFO of the company after previous finance chief Zachary Kirkhorn announced his decision to step down. 45-year-old Taneja was appointed as CFO in addition to his current role as Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) of the company.
