00:00 You can bet no one is throwing anything at Alicia Keys on stage if her son has something
00:08 to do with it.
00:16 During the singer's Keys to the Summer tour stop in Seattle, her youngest son, Genesis,
00:21 served as her bodyguard.
00:23 Alicia's hubby, Swizz Beatz, sharing these pics of the little guy, offering some extra
00:28 security.
00:29 And writing, "He heard how people been acting at shows lately.
00:32 My boy serious in real life."
00:37 And it's true.
00:38 In the past couple months, many musicians have been hit by objects during their shows,
00:43 including Kelsey Ballerini, Bebe Rexha, and Pink, who was left speechless after a fan
00:58 seemingly threw human ashes at her.
01:07 Yeah, Alicia's kiddo has the right idea for his mama.
01:27 Beatz was a welcome guest on Alicia's stage just six weeks ago, getting an exclusive first
01:33 look at what fans can expect, including this special moment with the singer and her son.
01:56 They love the road?
01:57 They do, they like the road.
01:58 This is like a playground to me.
01:59 Yeah, they bring out the scooters out here.
02:01 And they're in here doing the scooters.
02:04 They're having a ball.
02:05 I love it.
02:06 Pictures, I do have pictures in my room.
02:08 And just, you know, just keeping the element of love around me.
02:11 We have Beyonce bringing out Blue Ivy.
02:13 We have Pink bringing out Willow.
02:15 Like the kids are trying to get in on the fun.
02:17 It's kind of amazing.
02:18 It's, you know, they grow up around this music and they're so creative themselves.
02:22 It's so beautiful to be able to give them an opportunity to try.
02:25 And, you know, it's scary.
02:27 And so to see them be willing to go for it, it says so much about, you know, our kids
02:32 and this next generation coming up.
02:34 They're going to go for it.
02:35 They're going to have a good time.
02:36 They're going to try it and do their best.
02:39 It's incredible.
02:40 When Genesis isn't busy living his best life on the road and protecting his mama on stage,
02:46 you can bet Alicia's singing.
02:47 And all I know is everything's going to be alright.
