00:00 Police arrested a man who was a student with intellectual disability.

00:08 In the follow-up operation of the operatives of QCPD Station 14,

00:16 Melvin Manda, 39 years old, was arrested

00:19 for his house in Dasmariña City, Cavite.

00:22 He was accused of molesting a 19-year-old grade 7 student with intellectual disability.

00:28 According to the police, the two met at a dating site

00:31 and agreed to meet at a gas station in Holy Spirit, Quezon City.

00:36 From there, Manda was able to track down the victim in Cavite.

00:39 The victim was forced to accompany the suspect.

00:41 He molested her from the time the suspect caught him until August 1, until August 5.

00:49 So, he molested her three times a day.

00:54 The family first went to the police to report the missing victim.

00:58 They also used social media.

01:00 His brother posted on social media that his brother was missing.

01:07 And someone private messaged him that the child was in their neighborhood.

01:15 When the family and the victim learned that the victim was missing,

01:18 they reported to the police.

01:19 That's when the follow-up operation was conducted.

01:21 The mother was shocked by what happened to her youngest son.

01:25 We were all panicked.

01:26 At first, he didn't leave the house alone.

01:30 He didn't know how to commute by himself.

01:35 He was in school and he was in school.

01:38 We tried to find him.

01:42 We called his cell phone but we couldn't reach him.

01:45 We messaged him but he didn't reply.
