00:36 She's, you know, pretty much a big boulder.
00:39 She gets down in the back, butt goes up, chest goes down,
00:43 and, you know, as long as it's a smooth ride,
00:46 she's smooth sailing all the way in.

01:02 - This is her second event. She's only three years old,
01:05 so she started surfing just last year,
01:07 around this time, barely a year, and, yeah,
01:09 we're just looking to have a bunch of fun,
01:11 put some smile on people's faces, and...
01:13 - I've been to a lot of dates, I don't reckon.
01:15 - That's all it's about. She loves it. She loves it, yeah.
01:18 She loves the water, she loves the ocean,
01:20 she loves fetching, she loves the waves.
01:22 - Oh, it's great.
01:24 Oh, that's awesome, too!
01:26 - The goggles were from San Diego,
01:28 so normally there's bright sun,
01:30 and the sun reflects off of the water and into her eyes,
01:33 and she also has pink spots around her eyes
01:36 that get sunburned, so instead of trying to put
01:39 suntan lotion on her eyes, she wears sunglasses,
01:42 just like anyone else would do.
01:44 And then she has a custom-made wetsuit
01:47 that she wears for a life jacket.
