00:05 to discuss some changes in the commission and the planned projects in the last quarter of 2023 until 2024.

00:30 The Executive Director of the Philippine Sports Commission, Paolo Francisco Tata, and the PSC Chairman, Richard Bachman,
00:36 led the commission to discuss the institutional programs and projects that the office of the chairman and the four PSC commissioners will be conducting.

00:47 We have the Women in Sports, we have the Indigenous People's Games,
00:51 we have the Corporate Social Responsibility in Sports, we have Para Sports, Larut Saya,
00:58 we have the Batang Pinoy, the Philippine National Games, Philippine Sports Institute,
01:03 the Philippine Sports Training Centers, and the Regional Training Centers.
01:07 This will be all under the office of the chairman.
01:12 Bachman also plans to have the regional training centers set up in the satellite offices of the PSC
01:18 to help with the grassroots program of the commission.
01:22 The reason why I will use these offices is to actually help me in grassroots.
01:28 If there are any provinces that don't have grassroots yet, then we come in and we help.
01:35 If there's a program, then we'll also help out.
01:38 We'll ask the PSI to help out and train these volunteer coaches, train these technical officials, and referees,
01:45 just to improve these coaches when they do actually teach these kids.
01:51 According to Bachman, this year, the Philippine National Games and Batang Pinoy
01:56 will be held in Manila and Pasig City from December 17 to 22.
02:01 It is expected that the PSC will give priority to the needs of Filipino athletes
02:07 and the expansion of the grassroots program in other parts of the country.
