00:00 Josh, excellent start to the season today, couldn't have gone much better could it?
00:07 5-1?
00:08 No, really good performance from the team. I think it all started when we were in the
00:12 changing room, we were all ready to go at the first game of the season and then the
00:16 warm-up as well, we were all buzzing. The first 25 minutes was a bit of a slow start
00:22 but I think we got into the game as a team and after the first goal, I know they scored
00:27 after, but I thought we got back into the game and then the second goal went in and
00:34 we led it at half-time. And then second half I thought we just dominated throughout, so
00:38 really good performance today.
00:41 And it's the perfect preparation for the big one this time next week, the FA Cup, how excited
00:46 are you about it as a local lad from Halston?
00:49 Yeah, really excited, first time in it for the club as well and mostly for everyone here.
00:55 I think everyone's buzzing around the town, everyone knows, so hopefully we can get a
00:59 good crowd who can come and support us for the big occasion.
01:03 And you get to have a look at the trophy as well this week don't you?
01:07 Yeah, this Thursday, so that should be good, first time, good experience for us all. Hopefully
01:14 we can get most of the lads down there and everything like that, so yeah, should be good.
01:20 And when you play Kempston Rovers on Saturday, obviously going up against higher league opposition,
01:25 but it's the FA Cup isn't it?
01:27 Yeah, anything can happen.
01:29 You've got a chance, it's that old cliche but it's so often true. And we saw today that
01:35 when you hit your groove, you're hard to stop.
01:38 Yeah, FA Cup, any cup competition, anything can happen. It's just on the day, how you
01:47 perform, if we perform good we can get a good result, if we perform bad we're not going
01:51 to get a good result. So hopefully we can take this on from today on to next Saturday
01:57 and it's at home as well, so get a good crowd and they can help us as well.
02:04 And have you thought about what it might feel like running out as a Halston boy in their
02:09 first ever FA Cup game here, hopefully in front of a big crowd?
02:13 A little bit nerve wracking I reckon, but I think it will be a real good experience
02:19 for me and all the team mates in there, for us all and the club. So I think we've just
02:24 got to hold our nerves and just go into it as a normal game and just try and win it.
02:29 And if you win it, you've got another home tie?
02:31 Another home tie, yeah, even better.
02:34 Excellent, thanks very much, cheers for talking to us.
