00:00 grow every day, it's not like OTAs, couple practices a week.
00:04 Have you seen more growth now that you have more time on task?
00:07 >> Absolutely, I mean, he's just getting that accelerated vision that he didn't
00:11 have when he first comes in because no rookie really knows the speed of NFL ball.
00:19 Whether you're a receiver, quarterback, lineman, quarterback,
00:22 it's just different, so I think he's doing well.
00:25 >> Even during practices,
00:26 are you noticing him make corrections throughout the day?
00:29 >> Absolutely, I mean, he's just always watching film,
00:36 studying, learning from our last day, so
00:39 I feel like he's picking everything up really fast.
00:42 >> Pit, how much are you in his ear or maybe not, just as far as giving advice?
00:46 >> Yeah, I mean, I'm not much of a quarterback, so it's hard for
00:49 me to give a- >> More like a timing thing, I guess.
00:52 >> A timing advice.
00:53 >> Yeah, I mean, we're still working through things, and
00:57 basically the only thing that I tell him is whenever he's in trouble, I'm open.
01:01 It don't matter if I'm covered, I'm still open to throw it.
01:04 >> But some of you guys were with him in OTAs, right?
01:06 >> Yeah. >> So is that process now kind of,
01:09 you're not as far along maybe as you would be, but
01:10 is it starting to kind of accelerate?
01:12 >> Absolutely, yeah, he's just getting more comfortable with certain guys and
01:18 how certain guys play, cuz I feel like I play different from all of our other
01:22 wideouts, just cuz I'm a different body type.
01:26 A lot of those other guys, I'm fast, but those guys are quite fast,
01:32 you know what I'm saying?
01:33 So we're a little different play style guys.
01:35 >> Anthony, Anthony threw an interception early in practice.
01:38 How have you seen his demeanor just after he's had a mistake or
01:41 played that didn't go his way?
01:42 >> I mean, he's just always the same.
01:44 I mean, I've never noticed a change in him.
01:46 He's stone cold 24/7, so he's the same guy.
01:50 >> What's the benefit for an offense to that when you've got a rookie quarterback
01:54 who has that?
01:54 >> Yeah, he doesn't get too high, he doesn't get too low, so
01:59 he just kind of stays steady.
02:01 He's just kind of like a next play guy, you know what I'm saying?
02:05 So what, now what?
02:07 Whether it's good or whether it's bad.
02:08 >> Michael, are there some opportunities in this scheme that maybe you can take
02:13 advantage of that you didn't have previously maybe?
02:15 I don't know what that might be.
02:16 >> Yeah, I mean, it's still to me personally.
02:20 I mean, I feel like I'll flourish in any system, but
02:22 I mean, we're not really supposed to talk schemes.
02:26 So if I said something like Shane might come up to me and be like,
02:28 what you talking about in the media?
02:29 So I feel good about any scheme.
02:31 >> You and Kenny.
02:32 >> [LAUGH] >> Do you feel any carryover from your
02:36 time in Miami or
02:37 do things that out on the field you're just noticing that that work mattered?
02:41 >> Absolutely, I mean, I think for the most part,
02:44 it's more that camaraderie aspect when we had everybody there and
02:49 we were having a good time and we were working out.
02:51 And I feel like that shows up more because we're all hanging out
02:56 off the field and we're doing stuff.
02:59 And I feel like that translates on Sundays,
03:02 just you have that type of chemistry, everybody's really cool with each other
03:07 and tight, and you just know that that guy is gonna sacrifice everything that he has.
03:12 >> Michael, you've said to play this season without a contract extension.
03:16 >> I mean, do I expect it?
03:20 I mean, I don't really expect nothing really.
03:22 I mean, if it happens, it happens.
03:24 So, and if it doesn't happen, then yeah, I would play it out without an extension.
03:29 >> You and Kenny have- >> Do you want an extension?
03:30 >> Huh? >> Do you want an extension?
03:31 >> I mean, I think every player wants to get paid.
03:34 I wouldn't mind one.
03:36 >> [LAUGH] >> You and Kenny have-
03:38 >> There's two of you.
03:39 >> [LAUGH] >> You and Kenny have had some pretty good
03:42 battles out here so far.
03:44 Are you noticing any differences in him this summer?
03:46 >> Yeah, I mean, Kenny's pretty much been the same guy since I first got here.
03:50 I mean, he's fierce, he's strong, he's got really long arms by his height.
03:54 And he's just probably the smartest DB all of the field,
04:00 whether, just no matter who's out there.
04:04 So it's more than just beating him physically,
04:07 you have to beat him mentally too, so.
