01:21 and woe to them for what they earn.
01:39 And they say, "The Fire will not touch us except for a limited period."
02:01 Say, "Have you taken a covenant from Allah, so Allah will not break His covenant,
02:19 or do you say about Allah that which you do not know?"
02:38 Yes, he who does evil and his sin envelops him.
02:59 Yes, he who does evil and his sin envelops him.
03:16 And those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.
03:39 And those who believe and do good works - those are the companions of Paradise;
04:00 they will abide therein eternally. Allah has spoken the truth.
04:15 [Arabic]
04:31 [Host] We are here with the new program of Tafseer-e-Quran.
04:38 We have explained the 78 verses of Surah Baqarah.
04:46 You have listened to it with great pleasure.
04:51 May Allah reward you.
04:55 We will now move on to the next verse.
05:01 Qari Sahib has recited these verses beautifully.
05:05 We will now move on to its translation and explanation.
05:08 You will surely remember that Allah is mentioning the Jews here.
05:16 Allah has explained their sins, their misdeeds, their ego, their arrogance, etc.
05:35 In verse 79 Allah says, "Fa ghaylul lillazeena yaqtuboonal kitaab abi aydihim"
05:44 "So destruction is for those who write the Book with their own hands."
05:50 Allahu Akbar.
05:52 How strange is it that a person says that he is writing the Quran with his own hands.
05:58 Or that he is writing a book of Allah with his own hands.
06:04 Or that someone comes to you to ask you a question and he bribes you.
06:08 And you say that this is your problem.
06:11 It's okay, I will write a fatwa as you wish.
06:14 And I will also write that this is what is written in the Book of Allah.
06:18 This is what is written in the Torah.
06:20 This is what is written in the Psalms.
06:22 This is what is written in the Bible.
06:24 How big a crime is this?
06:26 And Allah has said, "Fa ghaylul"
06:29 "So destruction is for those who write the Book with their own hands."
06:32 The commentators have stated one interpretation of "Fa ghaylul"
06:35 One meaning is that this is the valley of hell
06:39 from which the entire hell itself seeks refuge.
06:42 So Allah says that I have kept this for them.
06:45 They will go to this valley
06:47 who write the Book with their own hands.
06:49 "Summa yaqooloon"
06:51 Then they say "Haza min 'indillaa"
06:53 "My writing is from the side of Allah."
06:57 Meaning that this is from Allah.
06:59 This is written by Allah.
07:01 "Liyash taroo bihi samanan khaleela"
07:03 "So that they may receive a little price in return."
07:08 For a little price,
07:10 they do not change themselves.
07:12 They change the Quran.
07:14 "Huway kis darja faqihane haram be tofeeq"
07:19 Allah says.
07:21 So they change the Book of Allah.
07:23 And this attitude is of which people?
07:25 Those whom Allah has given leadership for 2000 years.
07:30 This is the attitude of those people
07:32 that for about 1400 years
07:35 there was always a prophet among them.
07:40 How many blessings of Allah are there on them.
07:42 The Torah was revealed on them.
07:44 The Psalms were revealed on them.
07:46 The Gospel was revealed on them.
07:48 Three Books were revealed on them.
07:50 And how many prophets did they receive?
07:53 And how many elders did they receive?
07:55 And how many Hadis did they receive?
07:57 After that, you see their attitude.
07:59 The attitude of their scholars and reformers
08:02 is that they write the Book with their own hands
08:05 and change it into the Book of Allah.
08:07 So Allah says.
08:09 "Fa wailullahum mimma kataba ta'ideehim"
08:12 It is a destruction for those people
08:14 who write on it with their own hands.
08:16 "Fa wailullahum mimma yakseboon"
08:19 And it is a destruction for those
08:21 whom they earn.
08:23 Your earning is also a destruction.
08:25 Your writing is also a destruction.
08:28 You change the Word of Allah.
08:30 So in what degree of a criminal
08:32 this is clear to us from
08:35 Ayat no. 79.
08:37 After that, in Ayat no. 80,
08:40 Allah has stated this in Ayat no. 80
08:44 that earlier it was said that
08:46 they act only on their own desires.
08:50 They have made some desires on their own
08:56 and they have a belief on them.
08:58 What kind of desire is that?
09:01 What kind of belief is that?
09:04 An example of that has been given here.
09:06 "Wa qaaloor"
09:08 "Lanta massana naaro illa ayaamum maadoodah"
09:11 "We will not be touched by fire but for a few days"
09:14 It was said that when we will go before Allah
09:16 on the Day of Judgment,
09:18 like if we are sentenced to a thousand years,
09:21 we will be punished in one year.
09:23 Or we will be punished in one day.
09:25 Or we will be punished in one day.
09:26 So if we are sentenced to a thousand years,
09:29 then in seven days we will be put in hell
09:32 and then we will go to heaven.
09:35 And to show that Allah will
09:38 show people that
09:41 they were also criminals
09:43 and why were they not put in hell?
09:45 Allah will just put us in hell
09:47 for a few days
09:49 to show people
09:51 and then will put us in heaven.
09:54 This was their understanding.
09:55 This was their belief.
09:57 Allah says, "Qul attakhastum indallahi ahdan"
10:00 "O Prophet! Tell them that
10:02 have you taken a covenant from Allah?
10:04 Is there a covenant between you and Allah?
10:07 Has there been a talk that
10:09 it will be as you say?
10:11 "Falayyukhli fallahu ahda"
10:13 "So Allah will not go against His promise"
10:16 Meaning on the Day of Judgment,
10:18 Allah will put you in hell for a few days
10:21 and then will put you in heaven.
10:23 Is this a covenant
10:24 that Allah will not go against?
10:27 "Am taqooloon alallahi maa laa ta'lamoon"
10:30 "Either you are saying that to Allah
10:33 or you are lying to Allah
10:35 maa laa ta'lamoon"
10:37 "Whom you do not know"
10:39 "O oppressors! You are lying to Allah"
10:41 How dare you!
10:43 How cruel you are!
10:45 How fearless you are!
10:47 You are a person who is ashamed
10:50 of lying to his father
10:52 of lying to his brother
10:54 and even of lying to his prophet
10:57 is a reason to go to hell
10:59 even if a person lies to his Allah
11:02 What is the status of that person
11:04 in front of Allah?
11:06 And what does he think of religion?
11:08 Shariah? Everything is a toy
11:10 Everything becomes a joke in front of him
11:12 Then after that
11:14 In the last verse,
11:16 the verse that was recited today
11:18 Verse number 81
11:21 "Wa ahatat bihi khati'atuhu"
11:22 "Rather, the one who
11:24 earned evil,
11:26 sin,
11:28 "Wa ahatat bihi khati'atuhu"
11:30 "And his sin has encompassed him"
11:33 Allah says that he has committed a sin
11:36 and he has committed a sin
11:38 that the sins have encompassed him
11:41 This is a very dangerous thing
11:43 that a person commits a sin
11:45 and the sin encompasses him
11:47 The sin encompasses him
11:50 and it has covered him
11:51 that now that sin is a sin
11:53 Our scholars say that
11:56 these sins are the cover of kufr
12:01 That is, these sins come
12:03 and slowly take hold of the heart
12:05 darken the heart
12:07 harden the heart
12:09 make a person inactive and inactive
12:11 The courage increases and increases
12:13 You see their inactivity
12:15 Where did they take them to kufr?
12:17 This happens when
12:19 the sin of a person encompasses him
12:20 And these are not small sins
12:22 These are big sins
12:24 So a person should be afraid of sins
12:26 that he commits a sin
12:28 and the sin encompasses him
12:30 and one day that sin
12:32 takes him to kufr
12:34 And apparently the goodness of showing
12:36 is just a thin layer on top of a person
12:42 that he is saying that I am a believer
12:45 but his deeds are so dangerous
12:48 that he commits a sin
12:49 He encompasses him
12:51 These are the people of hell
12:54 They will always live in it
12:58 Their sins have taken them to kufr
13:02 And kufr and sins have encompassed them
13:06 And now they will always live in hell
13:11 [Arabic]
13:16 Ayat no.82
13:18 Now see the opposite of this
13:20 is a style of the Quran
13:22 That with darkness, light
13:24 With sunlight, shadow
13:26 With kufr, faith
13:28 With inactivity, good deeds
13:30 It states this
13:32 The same style has been adopted
13:34 [Arabic]
13:36 Those who believe
13:38 And do good deeds
13:40 These are the people of heaven
13:42 They will always live in heaven
13:45 [Arabic]
13:47 They will always live in heaven
13:51 Now who is a heaven-seeker?
13:53 This is not a matter of their own desires
13:56 This is not a matter of their own
13:58 attitude
14:01 Or it is not a matter of their own
14:03 understanding of heaven
14:05 That I am a heaven-seeker, you are a heaven-seeker
14:08 You are enjoying yourself
14:10 There is a criteria
14:12 There is a level
14:14 And Allah has stated it himself
14:16 That if you have faith and do good deeds
14:19 Then you will be in heaven
14:22 Allah has stated this in the Quran
14:24 If you want to enter heaven
14:26 You should have faith
14:28 If you want to enter heaven
14:30 You should do good deeds
14:32 This is a whole combination
14:34 Which has been stated in the Quran
14:37 [Arabic]
14:38 That those who have faith
14:40 And do good deeds
14:42 Then they will be in heaven
14:45 And on one side
14:47 You see the view of the Jews
14:49 That they are doing bad things
14:51 They are distorting the book
14:54 They are insulting the prophets
14:57 They are insulting them
14:59 They are even killing the prophets
15:02 They are doing this
15:05 And even after doing all this
15:06 What did the oppressors say?
15:08 Allah has stated
15:10 That we are from the people of heaven
15:12 Yes, if we have to go to hell
15:14 Then we will go for a few days
15:16 And after going there
15:18 We will get our leaves cut
15:20 And we will go straight to heaven
15:23 So Allah has completed
15:25 This Ruku here
15:27 And these verses
15:29 Are also mentioned in this subject
15:31 And Allah has also mentioned
15:34 The objections and the objections
15:35 And their attitude towards the book of Allah
15:37 And their attitude towards their book
15:39 All of this has been stated by Allah
15:41 So a person should not
15:43 Take his beliefs from the street markets
15:45 A person should not take his beliefs
15:47 From those people
15:49 Whose fatwa is being sold
15:51 See in ayat no. 79
15:53 Allah said that
15:55 "Take your hand from the hand of the one
15:57 Who has sold you"
15:59 And the one who has sold you
16:02 In ayat no. 79
16:03 Allah said that
16:05 "Write the book of Allah with your own hands"
16:07 Meaning that he writes it
16:09 And says that this is the book of Allah
16:11 So in our society
16:13 You will see this attitude of many people
16:15 That they say whatever they want
16:17 About the Shariah
16:19 And after writing it
16:21 They have written big books
16:23 They have given big speeches
16:25 And after doing that
16:27 And after writing it
16:29 They say that this is Allah's will
16:31 This is the explanation of the Quran
16:32 This is the explanation of the Quran
16:34 Now obviously the words of the Quran
16:36 Cannot be changed
16:38 The ayat of the Quran
16:40 Cannot be changed
16:42 So where do they go to change it
16:44 They try to change its meaning
16:46 Like the Quran said
16:48 "That through it many people are guided"
16:50 "And many people are misguided through it"
16:52 What is the meaning of being misguided through it
16:54 They misinterpret it
16:56 They do not follow the Quran
16:59 They do not want to follow the Quran
17:00 They make the Quran follow them
17:02 So for such people Allah has said
17:04 That it is a disaster
17:06 It is a destruction
17:08 It is a destruction
17:10 We have to pay attention to the Quran
17:12 In the right way
17:14 We have to fulfill its rights
17:16 We have to accept the Shariah of Islam
17:18 With its realities
17:20 And it is a big obligation upon us
17:22 In today's society
17:24 To be connected to the Quran
17:26 And the Quran
17:28 And to follow what the Quran says
17:29 And to overcome our desires
17:31 And to conquer the Quran
17:33 And to end our arguments
17:35 And to make the Quran's verses
17:37 A part of our society
17:39 In a very clear and simple way
17:41 Alhamdulillah
17:43 In this first segment
17:45 We have completed the verses
17:47 With translation and interpretation
17:49 Alhamdulillah
17:51 We have completed the verses
17:53 With translation and interpretation
17:56 Alhamdulillah
17:57 Now we are moving towards the end of this segment
18:00 And we are moving towards the Waqf
18:03 And after the Waqf we will come again
18:05 And Alhamdulillah Qari Sahib will recite the next verse
18:08 You stay with us
18:10 We will meet after the Waqf
18:12 Welcome, dear viewers
18:14 Alhamdulillah we are with you with a new segment
18:17 Qari Sahib has to recite the verse
18:20 Qari Sahib are you ready?
18:22 Yes
18:25 Qari Sahib will recite it
18:27 I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan
18:29 In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful
18:32 And when We made the covenant of the Children of Israel
18:36 You worship none but Allah
18:39 And when We made the covenant of the Children of Israel
18:43 You worship none but Allah
18:46 And when We made the covenant of the Children of Israel
18:50 You worship none but Allah
18:54 And with the parents, do good, and to the neighbors, and the orphans, and the needy, and say to the people, "Good" and observe prayer, and be mindful of Allah
19:22 And observe prayer, and give zakah
19:31 Then you turned away, except a few of you, and you were in doubt
19:55 And when We made the covenant of the Children of Israel
20:03 Do not pour your blood, and do not take your souls out of your homes
20:26 Then you decided, and you are witnessing
20:40 Then you decided, and you are witnessing
20:56 And you are taking out a group from your homes
21:13 And you are taking out a group from your homes
21:28 And if they find you in difficulty, you will guide them, and it is forbidden for you to drive them out
21:53 Do you believe in some of the Scripture and believe in others?
22:06 So what is the reward of one who does that among you except disgrace in the life of the world?
22:33 And on the Day of Resurrection they will be brought to the severest punishment, and Allah is not unaware of what you do
23:02 Those are the ones who have chosen life as a means of life in the Hereafter, so let not the punishment be lightened for them, nor will they be helped
23:31 Allah has spoken the truth
23:41 Subhanallah, Mashallah, in a very beautiful way, Qari Sahib recited the verses, before this our 9 rak'ahs were completed
23:50 And now we will go to the 10th rak'ah, Allah has said that we have taken a solemn pledge from the Children of Israel that you will not worship but only Allah
24:09 Allah has mentioned his promise to the Children of Israel, and in these verses Allah wants to tell us about their practical life, their morals, their deeds, etc.
24:38 Allah has mentioned that they were prone to corruption, and they were also prone to immorality, and Allah has also denied their moral conduct
25:01 Now Allah has mentioned their moral conduct, and he has said that we have taken a solemn pledge from the Children of Israel that you will not worship but Allah, and you will do good to your parents
25:14 And you will do good to your relatives, orphans, and poor people
25:24 Allah has taken a solemn pledge from the Children of Israel, and Allah has mentioned their moral conduct, and he has also said that you will do good to your parents
25:49 And Allah has ordered every Ummah to respect their parents, and this is why the Prophet (pbuh) has linked this sin with the sins of polytheism, murder, and immorality
26:09 If you were asked what is the good deed that you should do, the Prophet (pbuh) would say that you should pray on time and do good to your parents
26:19 Our religion, our Quran, our Shariah, and our Prophet (pbuh) have also emphasized this, and Allah has also given them this command
26:30 And after parents, you should do good to your relatives, orphans, and poor people, and until you do good to them, you will not be able to fulfill the concept of good deeds
26:40 You will not be able to fulfill the concept of good deeds
26:43 It is not like a person says that he prays and keeps his family happy, and then he says that he takes care of his relatives
26:51 Allah has made these rights, and this is not made by a mufti or a scholar, it is made by the Quran of Allah, and Allah has mentioned this in verse 84
27:00 And it is also mentioned in different places of the Quran that you should do good to your family, and until you take care of the poor, orphans, and poor people, you will not be able to fulfill the concept of good deeds
27:18 And we had promised people to speak to people in a good way
27:25 You see, this can also be a general command, that whoever you speak to in a positive, soft, and smiling way, speak to them in a good way, this is also a general command
27:35 And this command can also be related to the previous verse
27:40 Allah has mentioned the category of orphans, poor, and poor people, and you should speak to them in a good way
27:51 It is possible that one of them does not treat you well, but you should keep your attitude good
27:59 In the description of "Wa quloo linnasi husna", you can take the whole Quran as a whole, where Allah has said "Wa quloo qawlan sadeeda, qawloo ma'roofoo wa maghfira"
28:10 That you should speak to people in a good way, if you cannot help someone, you can at least speak to them in a good way
28:18 All these words that have been mentioned in the Quran, can also be included in the description
28:25 This is a very comprehensive sentence that Allah has said, "Wa quloo linnasi husna"
28:30 And speak to people in a good way, "Wa aqeemus sala wa aatuz zakah"
28:34 And offer Salah and Zakat, these are the two sentences that have been mentioned in the Quran, and they have been mentioned in the end
28:41 This means that if you just adopt these two things in your life, Salah and Zakat, all the things that have been mentioned in the Quran, will be included in this sentence
28:57 With parents, relatives, Allah has included all these things in these two sentences
29:05 Salah and Zakat are related to Allah, and Zakat is related to people
29:11 So Allah has briefly mentioned both of these things
29:15 "Summa tawallai tum illa qaleelam minkum"
29:18 "And many of you turned away, and you were those who turned away"
29:29 Allah has mentioned both of these things as attributes, and not as coincidences
29:35 You are the ones who turn away, your temperament is the one who turns away
29:39 Allah has given you the command of good deeds, and you kept on turning away
29:42 After this, the verses that are coming, if we keep a little introduction in mind, then we will translate it
29:49 One of the bad things about them was that they were divided into different tribes, like they conquered Arian city, Palestine
30:00 After conquering, they didn't form a central government, but they formed 12 different governments
30:07 Now these governments used to fight each other, and when they used to fight each other, they used to force someone to leave the tribe
30:16 If a Jew was living in a non-believing country, or if he was being held as a prisoner
30:22 So the one who forced him to leave, he used to go and tell him to take the ransom and leave the Jew
30:30 So he used to show people that he has given the ransom to a Jew and left the other tribe
30:36 So Allah says to them, who are you trying to be smart with?
30:41 Allah has not given you the command that you should not fight each other, that you should not separate from the tribe
30:46 Allah has given you this command as well, so when you are separating people from their homes, don't you remember good deeds?
30:53 You separate them from their homes, and then you go and give them the ransom and leave them, that now I am doing good deeds
30:59 So why do you disobey Allah at one place and at another place you are obeying Allah and presenting yourself
31:07 The same thing was done by the Jews of Medina, Banu Qaynqa and their other tribes, Banu Qurayza
31:12 Now they were allies of the Aus tribe, the Khazraj tribe, the tribes of Medina
31:19 Now when the Aus and Khazraj tribe fought, one Jewish tribe was on either side, and the other was on the other side
31:24 The Jews used to kill each other, and when there was a peace, they used to make them prisoners
31:29 So they used to go and free the other prisoner and tell him that they have done good deeds
31:36 So Allah says why do you kill first, why do you take them out of their homes?
31:40 This is the subject that is mentioned in these verses
31:43 So Allah says in verse 84, "And remember when We took a covenant from you, that you will not shed your blood"
31:53 See how Allah is explaining the unity of the tribe, how much unity and unity should be there in the tribe
32:03 Allah says, "We took a covenant from you that you will not shed your blood"
32:07 "And you will not take one another out of your homes"
32:15 "You had promised that you will not shed blood, that you will not take anyone out of their homes, that you will not take anyone out of the tribe"
32:22 "And you bear witness to this"
32:25 "And you are the ones who kill your own people"
32:32 "And you take out a party from their homes"
32:36 "And you are the ones who are angry with them"
32:43 "And if anyone comes to you as a prisoner, you will give him his ransom"
32:48 "And it is forbidden to take out those from their homes whom Allah has forbidden you"
32:57 See how the sentence is mentioned in these verses, which is not specific to one tribe
33:02 It can be the story of every tribe
33:04 "Do you believe in some books and deny some books?"
33:12 This is a bigger question than Ummat-e-Muslimah
33:16 If a person is praying and eating in the market
33:21 He is a decent person and he is coming out and abusing
33:26 And on one side he is doing good and on the other he is doing bad
33:29 And he is covering his good deeds with bad
33:34 What if I have done something wrong here?
33:37 Allah's obedience is not partial
33:39 That I will do it here and not there
33:41 "And believe, the biggest reason for the downfall of any nation is that wherever his heart wants he does good and wherever his heart wants he does bad"
33:53 If you look at the downfall of Ummat-e-Muslimah
33:56 This sentence will be our crime
33:59 On a governmental level, on a public level, on an individual level
34:03 That we are doing some good deeds and we are fighting with Allah in some places
34:08 We are rebelling against Allah
34:10 See how Allah has mentioned this in the verse of Aafaa
34:13 "Do you believe in some books and deny some books?"
34:21 "And I do not ask of you any reward except disgrace in the life of the world"
34:25 So what is the reward for doing this?
34:28 Except that he will be ashamed in the world
34:32 Allah has clearly stated the punishment
34:36 That leaving some books and doing good deeds on some books
34:40 Is a cause of disgrace in the world
34:42 It means that you are following your desire
34:45 Not following the book of Allah
34:47 If you were following the book of Allah
34:50 You would have followed the whole book
34:52 "And on the Day of Resurrection you will be returned to a more severe punishment"
35:00 "And Allah is not unaware of your deeds"
35:05 You think that I am reading Surah Al-Namaz and eating Suud
35:08 So will the prayer hide my Suud?
35:10 No, Allah is not unaware of your deeds
35:13 Allah is looking at every single action of yours
35:16 Allah is looking at every single behavior of yours
35:19 "And Allah is not aware of the life of this world and the Hereafter"
35:21 Allah says that these are the people who have bought the life of this world in exchange for the Hereafter
35:29 They want the world
35:31 They want to enjoy the life of this world
35:33 "And in the Hereafter sacrifice to Me"
35:35 "And Allah will not reduce the punishment from such people"
35:40 "And neither will they be helped nor will they be helped"
35:43 These are very eye-opening verses
35:47 And this is the 10th Rukoo of Surah Al-Baqarah
35:49 So we have been advised to be kind to our parents, to be kind to our relatives, to be kind to the people who are not in a good condition
35:58 And to follow the whole book of Allah
36:01 Through this program of QTV, I am presenting you with a Dawah
36:05 And I am trying to do this for myself as well
36:08 And I promise that we will enter into the religion completely
36:12 We will come to the complete obedience of Allah
36:16 We will not obey the rules of the world, we will obey the whole world
36:18 We will bow down to Allah everywhere
36:21 May Allah not make His few good deeds as a shield for our sins
36:26 And may He not make His few good deeds as a certificate for the bad deeds
36:32 May He not make them as a means, or a reason
36:35 Rather, may they come before Allah completely
36:38 Because the way Allah has put the Jews in torment and destruction
36:45 For every nation, this can be a means of humiliation
36:47 We should be aware of this
36:49 I pray to Allah that by following the explanation of these verses, may He enable us to improve our actions
36:57 And you have reached the end of this program
37:01 Alhamdulillah, our 10 Rukoo have been completed
