00:00 Let's all go to the movies.
00:01 Let's all go to the movies.
00:03 Let's all go moves with Vicky
00:05 Blitzchick Red Vine reviewer.
00:07 Yes, usually we do this on Friday,
00:09 but since we're doing our big stuff,
00:11 the bus back to school drive tomorrow,
00:13 we decided to give our movie review
00:15 today and Vicky, how are you?
00:16 I'm doing great.
00:17 How are you doing?
00:18 Good, let's remind people why we
00:19 call you the Red Vine reviewer.
00:21 I don't know.
00:23 I just walked in one day.
00:26 You guys started saying that no,
00:27 'cause that's how I rate my movies.
00:29 5 being the best Oscar worthy one.
00:33 You know, I don't know if I've
00:34 ever had anything that bad,
00:36 because I can tell from a trailer
00:38 if it's that bad and I'm not going to go.
00:40 Sometimes I've even told some movie people.
00:43 Trust me, I'm doing you a favor
00:44 to not review your movie.
00:46 So alright, we've been on a huge
00:48 roller coaster since last week
00:50 with Barbie and Oppenheimer,
00:52 and now we're kind of like coming
00:54 into this little hump of of how
00:56 can I say like a downturn in movies?
00:59 But you want to know something funny, Brad.
01:01 Last week I saw.
01:05 Barbie one night Oppenheimer
01:06 the very next night and the third
01:08 night in a row is the movie that
01:10 we're going to talk about today.
01:12 Talk to me now you would think poor
01:14 movie seeing it after those two.
01:16 I'm going to say I probably was walked
01:18 out the most satisfied out of all those
01:20 movies because believe it or not,
01:22 believe it or not.
01:23 OK, talk to me is a brand new horror film.
01:27 And Brad, I'm so glad you didn't go see
01:30 this because I am talking terrifying.
01:33 And so I know you're not crazy about
01:36 horror movies. This thing would haunt you
01:38 forever so this is actually taken
01:40 an old premise of the seance.
01:43 And this is a new version where
01:45 these group of young people
01:47 have got an embalmed hand.
01:49 I don't know where they got this from,
01:51 but they use it to contact the dead.
01:54 Not only contact the dead,
01:56 but to let the dead possess them.
02:00 What could possibly go wrong?
02:03 What is keeps thinking and before you
02:06 know it there passing this hand around
02:08 like it's been the dead hand at a parlor party.
02:12 I mean it is crazy.
02:15 I know look at your face and say it all.
02:17 It is crazy, but I'm going to tell you
02:20 this is a fresh brand new movie from
02:22 these Australian twin brothers,
02:24 Danny and Michael.
02:25 I think it's Philip who who actually
02:28 have gotten over a billion and a
02:30 half hits on a YouTube some other
02:33 YouTube series event.
02:34 This is their first first outing is
02:37 making a movie and it is so crazy
02:40 original and just I keep using the
02:42 word terrifying because it really is.
02:45 It's like you're in some out of
02:47 control car chase scene and right
02:49 when you think oh it's not going to go
02:52 there they go there they go there in
02:54 a moment that you can't imagine that
02:57 just leave you gasping and screaming.
02:59 It is horrific.
03:00 What do you give it if you like
03:02 horror and you're not afraid of gore?
03:04 This is a great movie,
03:06 but if those things bother you,
03:08 don't go.
03:08 It's really going to be disturbing.
03:10 I give it four red vines for a fresh horror film.
03:13 It's hard to earn four red vines for
03:16 horror films when you think about it.
03:18 That's up there with my rating
03:20 for Barbie and off the ground.
03:21 It is wow, but then they got to sell
03:24 it and finish the week.
03:25 Yeah, I gave up the Oppenheimer and Barbie.
03:28 He's a personal friend.
03:29 Yeah, three hour tour,
03:30 a three hour tour.
03:31 You know I gave them a little
03:33 bit higher than this movie,
03:35 but this movie is really original.
03:37 Really good horror fans are going to love it.
03:39 Alright, there you go.
03:40 We got a couple of minutes here.
03:43 Just really quick.
03:44 Let's talk real quick.
03:45 OK, I want to clean up.
03:47 Yes, that's it.
03:47 Something I said last week about
03:49 Barbie that turned out to not be true.
03:52 I had said that there's a scene where
03:54 she speaks to an older woman on the bench.
03:57 It was really sweet.
03:58 Yes, on the bench and that it was
04:00 actually the woman whose mom invented
04:02 Barbie and named it after her.
04:04 It turns out that's not true.
04:06 That's something that's going around out there.
04:08 I read that in a trade publication.
04:10 I I honestly can't remember where
04:12 it is. I read a lot,
04:13 but it's not true.
04:15 She's actually a wardrobe wardrobe
04:16 costumer with a long history that
04:18 they thought it would be nice to
04:20 honor her with that little role.
04:22 And I thought so too,
04:23 because Greta like fought for
04:24 that piece to stay in the movie.
04:26 It was cut and so everyone thought OK,
04:28 that's the reason why when
04:30 this story came out so amazing.
04:31 Vicki, where can they find you?
04:33 Usually on Friday with you,
04:35 but you never know.
04:36 And on Facebook under flick chick Vicki
04:38 and that's spelt VI Q you eat.
04:39 There you go.
04:40 Alright, we're going to see if there's
04:42 any movies are going to talk about next week.
04:45 Hopefully we'll have some so yeah,
04:46 thank you very much.
