00:00 Hello, my name is Frank Elliott and I'm here with your daily Sussex World News Bulletin
00:09 on Tuesday, August 1st. Here are the top three stories from across East and West Sussex today.
00:15 First, a dolphin's carcass has washed up onto Worthing Beach. The body of a bottlenose dolphin
00:22 was discovered yesterday morning on Monday July 31st by the pier. The cause of death is currently
00:28 unknown, although the body is believed to have been at sea for some time. A spokesperson for
00:33 Worthing's coastal office said operational waste had been asked to remove the dolphin's body.
00:38 Next, a man who was arrested after a 12-car collision in Worthing is wanted by police
00:44 after failing to attend court to face charges in connection with the collision. Marcus Cresswell,
00:50 34, was detained by members of the public after allegedly driving a Ford Transit van through
00:56 queuing traffic on the A27 on October 1st 2021, causing multiple collisions and minor injuries
01:03 to a number of occupants of other vehicles, police have said. Cresswell remains outstanding
01:08 and is believed to be sleeping rough in the Brighton area, police also added. Anyone knows
01:13 of his whereabouts or who may have seen him is asked to report online or call 101 quoting serial
01:19 1040 of 01/10/2021. And finally, a group of travellers who have set up in Chichester Park
01:28 have been asked to leave the area. Travellers arrived in Florence Park last week and more
01:33 than a dozen camper vans and caravans were parked on the green space. A group have now been asked
01:38 to leave the area, a district council spokesperson has said, and legal action is now being taken.
