00:00 Well, my priority is making sure we deliver the economic stability that our country needs.
00:08 How many people voted for your plan?
00:13 What do you mean by that?
00:15 Given the situation, I cannot deliver the mandate on which I was elected by the Conservative
00:21 Party.
00:22 I have therefore spoken to His Majesty the King to notify him that I am resigning as
00:29 leader of the Conservative Party.
00:32 I'm sure that whatever happened, the guidance was followed and the rules were followed
00:37 at all times.
00:39 Today I've received a fixed penalty notice from the Metropolitan Police relating to an
00:44 event in Downing Street on the 19th June 2020.
00:47 What's the naughtiest thing you ever did?
00:52 Oh goodness me.
00:53 Well, I suppose that, gosh, do you know, I'm not quite sure.
00:59 There must have been a moment.
01:00 Well, nobody is ever perfectly shaved, are they?
01:03 I mean, you know, I have to confess when me and my friends sort of used to run through
01:07 the fields of wheat, the farmers weren't too pleased about that.
01:14 Three hundred and fourteen for the Conservatives.
01:17 That's down 17.
01:20 And the Cabinet agreed that the Government's position will be to recommend that Britain
01:24 remains in a reformed European Union.
01:30 I expect to go to the Palace and offer my resignation so we'll have a new Prime Minister
01:34 in that building behind me by Wednesday evening.
01:37 Thank you very much.
01:38 This is how it's done.
01:39 Right.
01:40 A good family.
01:41 Good to see you.
01:42 And the education system in Rochdale, I will congratulate it.
01:51 Good, good.
01:52 And it's very nice to see you.
01:53 Take care.
01:54 Good to see you all.
01:55 That was a disaster.
01:56 She'd never have put me in the family, that woman.
01:57 Whose idea was that?
01:58 Everything.
01:59 She's just a sort of bigoted woman.
02:00 Who's idea was that?
02:01 Everything.
02:02 She's just a sort of bigoted woman.
02:02 Everything.
02:03 She's just a sort of bigoted woman.
